很棒的沙滩,海岸附近有岛屿。在这一带的海湾和海角还有海滩附近游泳都很安全。沿着白色的沙滩步行,远望大海,或者在海滩上的海景房里远眺都是非常有趣的事情。这里真是一个很棒的地方,绝不是徒有虚名!

在这里的两个河口可以享受到一流的冲浪和安全的游泳;还可以在这里徒步旅行、钓鱼,还可以从这里去到科罗曼德其他的地方;这里还有高尔夫、迷你高尔夫,还有很多饭馆、咖啡厅和商店。圣诞节和新年期间这里人非常多,而4月到11月份,会是一段很棒的人流低谷期,这里会非常安静。这儿一到圣诞节和新年就被青少年们给入侵了,而在1月初和2月初之间,青少年走了,给后面来的家庭游客和二十多岁的青年以及岁数再大一点的人腾地儿。我们在这里有一套假日别墅——海滨别墅26211,每年夏天的头10个月我们这里就都被订满了——一定要提早预订。

在这个世界上,没有什么比沙滩更让我喜欢的了。旺格玛塔沙滩没有让我失望。我坐在靠近停车场的位置那里,我的相机定格在那些在沙滩上嬉戏和冲浪的人们,在这里让我有种怀旧的感觉。这里有各个年龄各色的人,有些人只是来享受阳光,有些人在浅水区玩水,有些人带着他们的布吉板来冲浪。更远的地方人们都围到了码头的周围,孩子们在禁止往下跳的地方跳进水里(或者是有这个意思的一些标示的地方)有一个婚礼的派对在这里拍照。这里的气氛是整个夏天最幸福最有趣的了。远处在码头那边,我们看到了划船的人,我们还看到了游艇,它们被拴在了码头,美丽的船只正等着带它们的主人到另一个世界去。有一个皮艇爱好者划过壮观的水面。你拍到这样的照片了吗?我真的很喜欢它,我问自己,为什么我之前没有来这里呢,但是更多的是在想我什么时候还能来这里。

不要错过这处海滨,金色的沙滩,让人喜欢的商店、咖啡馆,气氛很好,适合家庭前往,海滨很好、安全,当地人十分友善,很多可以玩儿的。离oemana非常近,如果你想走一走,感受一下历史气息,可以去waihi gorge。

Spectacular beaches and rolling surf. Exciting! And pleased to see dotterills given some private space for breeding!

This is one of the many great beaches around the Coromandel peninsula for you to enjoy. Safe, clean and just lovely.

Spent a couple of days here. Walked along the beach and even spent some time swimming and fishing for kahawai in the estuary. The estuary provides a safe place for families to enjoy the water without a pounding surf. Great place; can't wait to return.

We walked along the estuary and along the length of this fabulous beach, azure blue sea breaking onto a long beach of sand. Most of the beach was virtually empty apart from a small area where would be surf heroes were toning their skills. Just about the most perfect beach.

This Beach has to be one of the best in New Zealand. Visitors can take there dogs down (Restricted hours during peak times and all day most of the year) The outlook is just stunning with Islands just off the beach and you can even walk to one of them at low tide. There is a calm Harbor area to canoe in if you find the surf too much of a challenge (Having said all of this I live here so while biased but I chose Whangamata to visit every day three years ago and wouldn't leave for quids.

Clean, surf patrolled beach. Friendly people and a great holiday atmosphere! Absolute must to visit as a destination!

Family spent a couple of days in a beach house just a block away from the Whangamata Beach. Spectacular beach with activities for all members of the family (our age range 6-50 yrs old)! Paddle boarding, biking, surfing...and much more. It offers both surf (main beach) and calm waters (estuary and wharf). We capped our stay by gathering shellfish (pipis and cockles) for dinner. Can't wait to go back

We have been spending time here in the summer for many years. There is something for everyone to do from nice safe shallow warm water in the river to the surf down at the famous "Whanga Bar" at the other end. Read the best reviews below they all give ideas on what to do. Whangamata is the classic kiwi beach resort.

Long beach and the islands are worth a visit. You can walk to one of the islands when it's low tide and there is a whole in the other one. Just take a Kayak and go there ;)

I live in whangamata and have just returned from travelling around UK and Europe where I saw some very beautiful beaches like in Taormina, Sicily but I do have to say that whangamata beach is in my opinion the best beach iv ever been to. Fun fluffy waves and nice hot white sand for sunbathing. Clark island gets a shallow water walkway at low tide which is so unique and then do it island is one of the most magical places to kayak or SUP over to :) love this place! So happy to call it home

This was a gorgeous beach with very few people at the end of December on a nice sunny day. The water was a beautiful emerald color. The sand is soft and powdery. It was warm enough for the kids to bathe in happily. There is an estuary with a pier for boats where there are no currents which is very safe for children.
