We thoroughly enjoyed our Murray-River cruise with the very hospitable and knowledgeable Helen and Jeff. Their passion for the river, its history and its wildlife and its role as the life-blood of SA was all too evident and proved contagious. Excellent spotters of birds, including chicks and nests. Saw darters and different types of kites as well as the ubiquitous black swans, pelicans, ducks and cormorants. Had a nice afternoon tea, too. Highly recommended.

This was an interesting trip made so by the lovely couple on board. Their knowledge of the river was very good. Can really recommend this trip. We saw the boat was up for sale so hope that makes no difference to the quality of this trip.The fresh fruit and cake was lovley.

The couple who own and run the 'Jester' really know the river well and were very informative and friendly.They have plenty of local knowledge and obviously love the river and care about the environment.Had 'afternoon tea' on the boat which was very good, fresh fruit and fresh home made cake.Well worth a trip and recommend it to all.

Recently I traveled with a group of eighteen to Adelaide. What a wonderful day we had went we ventured out to Mannam, South Australia and spent four hours on the MV Jester.It's owners were extremely hospitable as they shared their love of the wildlife that fills this area. They were knowledgeable too about the native history and made our all too short time with them interesting.We enjoyed their catering option too and that included a glass of local wine. A very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Boxing Day. The Jester was quite a small but intimate cruise boat built by the hosts and was immaculatly cared for by the husband and wife team. We went on the lunch cruise and yhe time passed quickly. Food was good. Limited wine choice. Informative local history chat by helen the driver/pilot
