jeanneret wines

I’d been a real fan of Jeanneret in the past but in recent years, they’ve managed to fall of my list. While passing through the area, I thought I’d call in and see how they have progressed over the years. Sadly, one of my favourite wines (Sparkling Grenache) is not made any more sand hadn’t been made for a couple of years, showing how out of touch I was. The normal Grenache was sold out too. That was bit of a bummer, but the Rieslings we tried were quite good. Shame about the bubbles though…The lady guiding our tasting was very helpful and friendly. The tasting area is very small, which was fine on our visit as we were the only ones there.

We were made very welcome although my husband and I are not really into wines.Tasted a few of the selected wines although the one I wanted was out of stock he had another for me to try and it was great so I naturally bought that . Also picked up some for daughter who suggested we go there..Spent about 1/2 hour there talking and tasting.
