What more can you say? It's a billboard with local information on it. As far as these go, it lets you know where you are and what's around. It helped us to find the "big olive" and I always stop at these things to see if there is anything unique going on in a small town.

We called into the museum on our way to the Coorong, the volunteer working there was most helpful and pleasnt. I found all the old station records, tickets, and railway switches amazing! Lot of history there. They also had some very nice local produce for sale. Worth a visit!

I've been at Tailem info Station, the local Visitor Infomation Outlet at Tailem bend many times. I've always been welcomed by the friendliest volunteers, always going out of their way to help me with me queries. I went to have a look through their railway museum, I was amazed by the collection of local railway memorabilia they have. I was also lucky enough to be taken on a tour by Mr Ray, an ex railway engineer. He was genuinely enthused to talk about his passion to tourists. I bought some melting moment biscuits that were made in Tintinara and they are to die for, same as fudge (locally made in Tailem Bend) and their cheese! Really nice local produce.
