I toured the winery, which is new, clean, and organized. The tour guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The wine made here is from grapes grown on the Moorilla property and are called the Muse line of wines; as opposed to the Praxis line (which is grown in the Tamar Valley and may also be made here). Some of the vines on the Moorilla property precede the museum, as the property was a winery long before the MONA showed up.

Being fro SA Australia, we are spoilt for choice and have done lots of wine tasting over the years. When got there we realised they were very busy and they did squeeze us in, but we did pay for the privlege. It cost $10 for the tasting which came off the price if you bought some wine. Granted the wine was nice, but we found the tasting very rushed as they tried to serve too many people at one time.

Lovely Staff were quick and efficient to assist with the tasting while I juggled 2 very tired kids. Picked up a couple of lovely wines and hubby some Moo Brew

What a package you get there. The MONA, a good restaurant, wine bar and cafe all in beautiful surroundings. Their wines are excellent so we bought a lot.

Visited Moorilla as part of a visit to MONA. Stopped in to taste the range of Moo Brew beers - I was initially unsure about the $10 fee however when 6 good sized beers were delivered it seemed fair. It seemed even better value when I then made a purchase and the $10 tasting fee was waived in exchange for buying something else. We then went downstairs & had a great lunch of ploughman's style platters sat outside while the kids ran wild on the huge grass lawn

We did a tour under the guidance of Frieda and cannot speak highly enough of her knowledge, humour and professionalism - I never knew the story behind the bottle could be as interesting as the contents!! Thanks Frieda, you made our stay a truly memorable one!!

Under the passionate guidance of Frieda we took a tasting tour of the Moorilla Estate winery. I learned a lot about the history of the estate and the creation of a world class winery. However, what made the visit special was Frieda's passion for wines and her love of the subject. She was a great teacher - no question was left unanswered and she made me, a novice when it comes to the ins and outs of wineries, feel quiet at home and wanting to learn more.

Delicious wines to be tasted.Although, they make you pay $10 to taste them (no other winery does that).It's a good relaxation spot after wandering around the confusing installations of MONA.

My fiance and I visited the wine tasting after we finished looking at the museum. We had a really fun time. The staff were very friendly and the wine was great! Would definitely come back here next time we are in Tassie.

Went to Moorilla to drop in and see MONA outside by day and to do a tasting. Was great and the wine was great to taste. The staff were great and we enjoyed our tasting. Will come back again next time.

Great value for $15. Informative winery tour and yummy tastings of all the wines. Perfect for before or after MONA. We enjoyed it.

The tour is like any wine tour informative fi you are interested in wine. The tasting is excellent and the view and products are well worth the visit.

Moorilla cellar door is in a great spot beside MONA. it is $10 for tasting of either wine or beer. If you buy wine it is refundable. The typical tasmanian varieties of riesling and pinot noir are represented, but i didn't enjoy the wines. There was a delicious dessert riesling that we were lucky to be able to try - and bought a bottle.

Moorilla is, of course, all MONA these days - and the winery itself has waxed and waned in terms of the quality of its wines. But regardless of that, we always support it when we visit MONA by indulging in a glass of two of its latest offerings.Our group is a long-time fan of the $10 wine tastings and many a visit to MONA has started in the tasting area above the walkway down to the museum. Last month, however, myself and an American friend decided to do the wine tour. Our host was one of the winemakers and extremely knowledgeable. She was slightly quirky, and that only added to the enjoyment of the tour, For me the highlight was tasting wines straight out of the vat at different stages of the fermentation process. It was a great privilege to be able to see their operations - and it has to be said, the tastings were plentiful, and well, well worth the cost. We ended up in the tasting room located adjacent to the wine tasting area, and our host continued to find wines for us to taste. We fairly rolled out of there, and felt well looked after.Brave Moorilla. A top tour.PS: The Beer tour is equally as good. It's a credit to Moorilla's choice of staff which have the best customer service ethic in a state that often lacks in that area.
