The park sits right on the Murray river. It's a beautiful place to relax, have a picnic or whatever you feel like doing. It is very well maintained and has toilet facilities and a great playground for children.A lovely place to stop if you are in Albury.
Great Park. Good parking. Heaps of room to walk or run. With the added benefit of beautiful river. Toilets available
This is a local park on the rivers edge in the centre of Albury. Great spot for a stroll or take a bbq. Can swim in the river... But always be aware of the dangers of the river. Currently renovating the river deck cafe which will be a fabulous asset to the city. Well worth a visit
This beautiful park sits right on the banks of the Murray River, which is itself an attraction as Australia's longest river. The park is beautiful, had well maintained facilities and a great playground (Oddie's Creek Playspace). It seemed safe to me even at night. Don't miss it if you're in Albury.
shhh don't tell anyone, but Albury is the coolest place in Australia. We visited this park and found it clean, shady and full of happy people swimming, picnic-ing and enjoying the beautiful weather. My children enjoyed swimming or floating down the river nearby
Noreuil Park is a great family spot. Situated on the side of the Murray River it boasts large shady trees, extensive lawns, bbq's and tables & seats. It also has a boardwalk cafe and one of the kids playgrounds you've ever seen. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. I love it...
Best place for friends, family and a dog or 2... We run and ride around this park every chance we get. It's amazing for playing games, having a picnic and a great location to get fit as well!!
I always visit Noreuil when I'm back in Albury as it's one of my favourite spots anywhere for a swim in the bracingly cold water, and just enjoying the river flowing swiftly past. Please note that the spelling is Noreuil, not as currently listed on TA, 'Norieul'. The park was named after Noreuil in France, in 1919, because the Albury Battery, part of the 5th Brigade, helped capture it from the German Army in April 1917.
Beautifully kept garden and sporting area, where you can sit on the banks, and watch the mighty Murray's flow. Gorgeous matured gums line the banks, and there are walking and biking trails. Lovely play area, and a great place to stop and enjoy the peace.
Lovely location on the banks of Murray River but nothing much done here. There is a great kids play area around the corner that should have been built here and would have made the area fantastic. There is a café at the boat club and swimming in river but could be more family and kid friendly. Parking is ?? and there is a large area in the middle of Norieul that would make perfect caravan stopping camping area but council bans camping so only day stops.
Very busy spot during summertime. Great area to chill down, to sit on the river edge with your feet in the water and watch the kids and family dogs swim past. Great park for a picnic and to bake your own pizza in the community oven. The kids will love the big playground. The adults will love the cafe.
This is a very popular spot in summer and it's clear why! Ample picnicking space, a playground for the kids, a community wood-fired pizza oven, canoe club, and a perfect spot for a dip in the river make this a favourite for locals. Great with family or a group of friends of any size.
So inviting and cool with the river and the trees, plus there's a great little outdoor Café here. Beaut casual food and good coffee.
Ideal for a peaceful walk along the river, or for jogging or cycling. Excellent playgrounds for children along the way. Well maintained by the Council.
Murray river magnificent, very nice parkland with barbeque facilities much used by local families, nice touch.
