This is by far one of the most beautiful parts of Australia. So blue, so beautiful. There is no other place like it for me. I've been coming to the Blue Mountains since I was a child (50 years) and it is still breathtaking. Try and get there on a sunny day. Take lots and lots of photos.

I like it as it is a small cinema, very clean and great service. It has not got a licence for a glass of wine, but great filtered coffee!

We got a tiny bit lost, we seen the sign for Jellybean Pool turned the corner then seemed to miss the sign for the National park lol soon turned around & found it, nice drive into the park it cost $7. per vehicle, we drove around 10km's & checked out the camping area, bit too secluded for us but its a very nice spot & we seen the biggest lizard there. then we drove back to Jellybean pool, parked the car, takes a few minutes to walk down, good view from up the top, we wore thongs, shoes would of been better some of the rocks were a bit slippery & we seen several people go for a slide down close to the sand. The water looks brown but its see through so its just a reflection, we jumped of different height rocks, swam in different parts, took a picnic with us too, you need to take your food & drinks with you, there is a small shopping center just off the main road, We had a great time there & will return, it was very busy too. We didn't see any loo at Jellybean so I guess pee before you get there lol & the water is shallow in most places so its great for little kids (I still put a life jacket on mine just in case)

Drove through the forest, across a ford and along unsealed roads to campsite. Got close to a few wild kangaroos including one with a joey in its pouch. Awesome experience!!

This is a nice area to go a drive. The Jellybean Pool looks like a pleasant place to go for a swim during summer. It's close to Glenbrook where there are cafes etc.

I took my kids here for a morning out wandering and it was lovely. We live locally and no wonder why we don't come here more often .

We had an amazing time in the Blue Mountains. The place is awesome and the view is breathtaking. Its wonderful and its the best option we chose for a tour next to Sydney. I suggest to anyone ! Great ! There are a lot of bugs in the place but worth the visit.

I love the gorge walk. You start at the top near the ranger station and go into tje gorge via stairs. You spend the next hour and a half or so rock hopping to Nepean river. You can eirher turn around or you can find the track to Lapstone station (leave a second car there). There is a place for a little swim just before the river. Awesome.

... i this lovely little village with its main road where you find anything you might need for a hike into the blue mountains - there is 1 good cafe (forgot the name) at the corner of the main road (park road), really nice interior and quit good coffee.the trail for the hike starts right besides the highway, but soon enough you are away from its hectic and can enjoy the walk, good paths, dense forest - great!the length is optional to you, you can walk endless long or short. just make sure you got enough water and let anybody know that you are off.

I was a little surprised to see the national park crowded with tourists, especially at the 3 sisters lookout. I guess I'm used to the national parks in US which are less frequented by tourists. Anyhow, the Blue mountains has a spectacular view of the mountains and the valleys. My only qualm was that it was very hot, and full of bugs. Definitely bring bug sprays, sun block, and a hat!We did a one hour (one way) walk to the waterfalls, only to realise that we could have drive to the waterfalls. But I guess the walk was pretty nice. You can pay $35 for unlimited accesst to the scenic cable car, train, bus and walkway. I think it is pretty worth it, but unfortunately we didnt do it since we got there too late and it closes at five. What a pity :(Definitely worth a visit if you have a car or friends who drive!

This is a vast area and you could spend weeks here bush-walking, trekking or just "driving" around. There are walks of various distances as well as of different fitness levels. Most people do the shortish walk to see the "3 sisters". The colours of the hills change with time of the day but become blue in early morning or late in the afternoon. From the look out the area is vast and makes you feel small and humble. Well worth making a visit to this area and look around.

We visited the Blue Mountains as a day trip from Sydney this Oct. While it's nice enough and prettish and scenic it's honestly nothing out of the ordinary. Leura village is quaint and lovely but the Three Sisters and the waterfalls etc are quite run of the mill. We took the explorer bus which was fine but we didn't get as much time as we would have liked to explore as everything closes very early at 5pm. And nothing we saw warrants a stay here so on the whole I guess your best bet is to start very early (it's a 2 hour train rude from Central) so you have more time and maybe of lunch on the go since stopping got lunch takes a while.

Just love roaming around anywhere in the Blue Mountains, spring time is the best when all the wild flowers are in bloom.

You won't find the amazing views of higher up the mountains here, but there are some great bush walks of a few hours each, good swimming in summer and fantastic mountain bike riding. The Glenbrook Gorge is fun for rock hopping for a day, and Euroka Clearing a pleasant place for a picnic. Camping sites are available.
