We visited Wendy on a wine and cheese tasting voucher. She was quite accommodating providing alternate cheese and dips for me due to my pregnant state and took time to explain the heritage of her winery and the history of her grapes. Very knowledgeable, she talked us through the wines we tasted and those my husband drank! About a 20min drive out of Pokolbin, this winery gave us an insight into what a real family-run vineyard is like - not very touristy, a lovely selection of predominantly Italian grapes. It's obvious running a vineyard is a lot of hard work, and I hope more tourists are able to explore the outer regions of the Hunter and support the smaller local business' like Wendy and Bill's.

We had a private function there recently. The function room is beautiful and the view from the balcony is terrific.The wines were all lovely and the assistance of Wendy was much appreciated. Great place for a function. Highly recommended.

It is a drive into the less developed Hunter Halley of NSW. The vegetation becomes drier, thinner. About 30 minutes from the crowded Pokolbin region. However up the side of a Hill lays the lovely recreated country church that is the Winery. Lovely views over developed farms. The wines range in price from $15- $20 is good value for quality. Wendy and Bill are Country Australia - which is compliment in the commercialised Hunter wineries. They are trying Italian stock which is quote different to Australian Semillon, Shiraz, Chardonnay. Easy parking.Well worth a visit.....
