This is a great place to visit so many old care and their history to look at. If you like vintage cars then this is a place you will love and just the history of these cars will get you in. Grownups and kids alike will enjoy this place.
A great place to visit this family operated museum. Lots of vintage cars on display and a guided tour is a must as the owners are a wealth of information. The gift shop is absolutely fantastic.
This place is a must to visit if you are in Forbes. They have a magnificent display of cars and also a few motor cycles. The cars have been carefully selected to represent iconic vehicles of the past and some from the present. A few really old vehicles but also a number from the 50s, 60s and 70s.I was fortunate to meet the owner of the museum who has a great deal of knowledge about the cars and also about the Forbes District. Thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with him.All the staff were friendly and helpful and the museum and its cars are absolutely immaculate.
A visit to McFeeters Motor Museum not only enlightens you with rare cars but also dummies model the outfits of that era. McFeeters also houses the information bay and details on what else is available to do in the area.We were lucky enough to be welcomed by the owners and you could tell the museum is their pride and joy.We could highly recommend your visiting this museum which is housed in a nice new specially built building.
Throughly enjoyed our visit to the museum - well worth a stop for a couple of hours. The host Ken was a mine of information and no question was too silly!
If you are in Forbes this is an excellent way to spend a couple of hours. The owner of the museum gives you a conducted tour and it is very interesting. He let us have a photo taken in one of the old cars. The museum is in the same complex as the wine tasting place and a very nice cafe. I am not really a car enthusiast but I thoroughly enjoyed myself because the chap made it interesting. All the cars are privately owned by him and his wife. Highly recommend a visit.
Really good museum, very helpful staff with a stack of information, some greats cars too. Definitely worth a look.
The McFeeters Motor Museum is certainly not to be missed when visiting Forbes. The family of McFeeters were a pleasure to meet and hear their passion on their car collection .Ken gave us a wonderful insight into their collection.Wishing the McFeeters family all the best for the future with their museum.Bruce and Wendy Gibson . What a fabulous find this is. This personal collection of Vehicles is fabulous. This is a family run place and everyone we met was lovely and passionate about their collection, and so they should be. Without people like this so much history would be lost. I especially loved the addition of mannequins in era clothing. Congratulations to you all. Forbes is worth a visit.
What a wonderful collection of cars. A must lace to visit. The coffee shop had a wonderful menu and the service was good. There was also a gift shop with great assistants very helpful and willing to show what their gifts could do. Wonderful
owners very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about vehicles. passionate about their displays. very attractively presented... added extras that make it interesting for the ladies too.
We saw the sign on our way into Forbes and decided to have a look. We were made welcome by the lady who also gave us so much interesting information about some of the exhibits. The giftshop had an excellent choice of things to purchase and their prices were great. We had lunch in the cafe which had excellent friendly service and the food was really good. We will certainly be telling our family and friends about this wonderful place.
This is a small museum but a quality museum. They have a good selection of cars on show with some interesting cars. The staff are super friendly. There is a shop to buy some merchandise, a cafe and wine tasting. General admission is a reasonable price. The only thing I found was a tad expensive was the cafe, which a salad and a pie will cost you $10. There is also an outside area for the kids to run around. A great place to take kids.
I'm not sure how long this has been open but it is fairly recent. It's a new modern building housing a small but well presented collection of cars and motor bikes from several sears. Altogether about 50-60 vehicles all beautifully presented, including a Japanese hearse, four Jags, a couple of Holden's and many others. Also included on site is a tasting room for a local winery and a very nice cafe operated by a local Honey producer. We went on a weekend and the owners were there to give us a tour and answer questions. This one is well worth a visit.
