The Murwillumbah library located near the Civic Centre has a good select of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and large print books. Occasionally, the library holds special events like Gardening. Plenty of chairs to relax in. Toilets inside building. Internet available.

The library is located directly opposite the Y.H.A and is a great place to rest a backpacker's weary feet. Local art (Murwillumbah is a mecca for artists) and craft adorn the walls and shelves and one can keep updated by reading the news in a special area. The childrens' section is expansive and the staff are always obliging and pleasant.
