tooloom falls

I suppose we are spoiled when it comes to beautiful natural spots to visit in this part of the world, so we found this spot to be somewhat underwhelming. Pretty, but by no means spectacular.It's a nice enough spot for a picnic or bbq, or a place to stretch your legs if you're travelling. The falls area is a few kilometres from the main road, and easy to find. The falls can be seen from the carpark and you can approach the top of the falls from the spillway. We were not concerned by the lack of fences and guardrails, however families with young children will need to be mindful of this.The tables and facilities were in poor repair when we visited, and the causeway is flood damaged so you cannot drive across to the opposite side.
