We had a hens day at the retreat and it was just perfect. We all had the best day. Amazing traetments, stunning setting and beautiful lunch. Highly recommended.

Wow, just back from an overnight stay in beautiful Botanica spa with 3 girlfriends. What an inspiring , amazing place. Gemma and Stefano , as hosts, were impeccable in their service and hospitality with great attention to detail and fantastic food delivered to our table. The surrounding vista is sooo relaxing and inspiring and lying in the infinity pool looking out over the hinterland was dreamlike. Massage and yoga were top notch and sauna and spa a delight. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone and will definitely go back with my hubby for a couples treat.

From the time of the booking Gemma and Stefano were incredible ! From the instructions to get there and checking what type of food we would like the service was impeccable ! From the lunch/ dinner and breakfast , the spa sauna and infinity pool and Sunday morning yoga , the massages just perfect! To top it off the serene and stunning surroundings we couldn't have wished for a better girls pamper weekend ! I can't thankyou enough for your total package of perfection ! I will come back again and again ... Definitely heaven

The ladies and I had an awesome day hanging out at Botanica! It was an adventure finding the location, and well worth it. We had a relaxing start to a hen's party with green tea and beautiful spa treatments, hot tubbing, chilly dips into the pool, sauna, and a lovely lunch. We had a fantastic time, and I will def go back to take a rainforest walk and stay in the loft for a romantic stay-cation.

This place is more than a day spa, we loved the drive from byron through the hinterlands and we're pleasantly welcomed by Gemma at her amazing retreat. Private spa, sauna, plunge pool, freshly picked fruit from the property, green tea and sunshine over looking the valley to start, followed by a delightful massage. We'll definitely be back and might even stay the night!

A friend and I booked a massage and facial here to culminate our week-long stay around the Byron Bay hinterland. This was the perfect place to unwind! The day spa itself is perched up a hill on the property, resulting in an amazing 180-degree view of the beautiful forrest surrounding the area. The spa itself is beautiful, with an outdoor spa and pool (solar heated and not treated with chemicals), where you can sit and admire the view. The sauna is heated by a log fire and has a beautiful smell from the timber used to build it. Gemma gave us an hour to relax or use the facilities before our treatments, all enjoyed on complete privacy as the owners do not come up during this time. Our massages were wonderfully relaxing and seemed to go for more than the usual hour-long treatment offered at conventional spas. To top it all off, one of the owners (who is Italian) cooked us a beautiful vegetarian lunch - using mostly ingredients from their garden - which was perfectly light but filling.Although the spa seems to be more suited for couples (massage beds in the same room, bath in the main room with no door separating, etc) it was still a great experience for myself and my friend. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Went to Botanica to celebrate my sister's 40th on Friday! Totally amazing and tranquil day. The drive there was beautiful, through little communities, farms, rainforest and gorgeous creek crossings.The spa was ours for the day, and the day was absolutely fabulous. Gemma was the perfect hostess, everything was there - towels, robes, slippers, organic fruit and tea. We relaxed in the spa, sauna and even jumped into the plunge pool - how invigorating! I loved how we were left on our own to relax.The massage and body scrub that followed were so relaxing and the milk bath was just the thing to end the treatment. Beautiful organic italian lunch prepared with food grown on the property - thank you Stephano.The photos don't really do it justice, it is truly amazing, away from all things noisy and is perfect to de-stress and feel like you are a total world away. Too bad it all had to end. We will be back!

I was very fortunate to enjoy an incredible day at the retreat. From the beginning to the end, the entire unique experience was one I'll never forget. Gemma made me feel so welcome, the retreat was picture perfect, the treatments were absolutely amazing and never have I felt so relaxed and to top it off I enjoyed a traditional Italian lunch made from Stefano's organic garden. I would definitely recommend the retreat / experience to anyone looking to relax, escape the hustle & bustle of busy lives, a romantic getaway or a girly weekend. Can't wait to go back :)

It was a relaxing and wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our time there : GREAT view, WONDERFUL spa & massage, OMG Italian Lunch! The most - one booking per time - you have the whole area. If I can rank Botanica 6 STARS- I will. It is in the middle of no where but it is the reason we go there! You don't need any other attractions.

It's a nice drive from Byron to Wilson's Creek hinterland, just out of mullumbimbi. From the moment we arrived I was amazed by the beauty and the sense of calm the retreat had to offer. As the sun set over the valley whilst viewed from within the warm spa, to unwind even more in the sauna to the plunge pool. Our meal was then prepared followed by dessert, made from organic grown produce on their property "delicious". We sure slept well with our pamper day of treatments still to follow (I was already on cloud 9)! Topped off with our own private yoga session to the rose petal and almond milk bath! Wow, I know you'll enjoy your stay!

I had the most amazing day at the Botanical Rainforest Spa and Retreat enjoy one of the most relaxing days I have experienced. The body scrub and facial left my skin feeling rejuvenated and soft. The lunch was of the highest standard and I could not fault the staff who were all amazing. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Thank-you Gemma for the incredible day myself and my family had at Botanica. It was a fun drive not to far from Byron Bay and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Once we arrived we were treated to a swim, spa and sauna complemented by freshly squeezed organic tangerine juice and herbal teas. I was then indulged with the best body scrub and massage i have ever had followed by a walk around the lovely grounds and to top it all of we were absolutely delighted with a beautiful lunch made with organic produce from the garden, i savoured every bite. Thanks you so much for such a lovely unforgettable day, i would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to escape to heaven for a day or even a night.

We came here for the day for my best friend's hen's weekend. It was so beautiful and relaxing and exactly what we were looking for! There were 7 of us and we were all catered for perfectly! I had a massage, facial and a foot treatment and it was so divine. We were able to choose the treatments that suited us all, and the surroundings helped us relax even more! We had the whole place to ourselves and spent the day between treatments in the sauna, spa and plunge pool. And the lunch was also delicious. Highly recommended for a couples retreat or group event! Gemma was an excellent host.

I needed a break from everything and this was the perfect retreat to recharge. Completely secluded in the rainforest, a hidden gem. The treatment was sublime, the food delicious and wholesome. Gemma massaged all the stress and tension away and Stephano cooked food from his organic garden which was absolutely divine. I felt totally taken care of and away from all the busyness of life. The location is so quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. A swimming pool filled with spring water, a luscious spa, wood fired sauna and a beautiful studio which overlooks the rainforest. I will be regularly coming here to nourish my mind body and soul.
