Was delighted to find this little piece of perfection tucked away in the Woomargama State Forest. The hosts were the absolute personification of friendliness, with a warm inviting manner that made us feel right at home (even to the point of kicking off shoes so we could appreciate their beautiful floorboards, which have a great history). The meals were superb, especially the home-made chips! Thank you for letting us share your piece of paradise and for creating a wonderful memory of a special day.
I recently went to Flyfaire Wines for the second time. The first time was with a friend from Melbourne and we suggested Flyfaire as it was the closest winery and in the middle of the Woomargama State Forest. We had an excellent time tasting the wines and had a superb alfresco lunch on terrace looking up the valley towards Mt Kosciousco. We enjoyed ourselves so much that, when our group who meets regularly for lunch wanted somewhere special to celebrate a combined 70th, 65th and 60th birthdays luncheon we suggested Flyfaire. There were 10 of us for lunch and Julieanne and Les didn't let us down. We all had an excellent meal (we had the chicken or salmon) with side dishes in air-conditioned comfort out of the 40º heat. We couldn't recommend Flyfaire Wines highly enough. The service and food was as good for the 10 of us as it had been for the 3 of us previously. Good work Julieanne and Les. We will certainly be telling all we can about you. Keep it up
I am not usually a Chardonnay drinker, however the Flyfaire Chardonnay is stunning and very easy to drink, as are all the wines I tasted. The location and surroundings are gorgeous and the hosts are very warm and friendly. The food and live music make Flyfaire Wines a wonderful day out.
Lunch on the deck with a bottle of chardonnay - perfect! Picturesque view, delicious food - perfect! Lovely hosts - perfect!. Thank you Les & Julianne for a perfect day!
Not your typical winery. Great food, great people, amazing wines. Not a white drinker generally but both the riesling & the chardonnay have taken me. Sustainable approach. Love it & look forward to going back. Well done to the owners.
My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Flyfaire Wines. Sitting out on the deck listening to live music, a picturesque view and delicious food and wine was the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. We are lucky enough to live close enough to Flyfaire to visit often and we definitely will be regular customers. The owners were both friendly and knowledgable and made us feel so welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough.
4 of us decided to go to Flyfaire for lunch on a Sunday. What a pleasant surprise to find an up market winery in the middle of the bush. Lunch was cooked to perfection, wine was great and the hosts Les & Julianne made you feel at home. There was entertainment by musicians who made the atmosphere. Definitely a place to go to get away from the busy cities without comprising the creature comforts.
We were in Woomargama for the Bioblitz 2013 community wildlife survey weekend and went to Flyfaire Wines for dinner as we had seen an advertisement whilst at the event. We had four adults and seven children in all and we all had such a great evening. We were greeted with lovely hosts, a great tour of the fantastic venue, beautiful food that also catered for the two vegetarians who were very impressed with their meals and some very impressive wines. The kids were most welcome and the hosts were very accommodating of them. We all thank you for a great night and will be sure to recommend your great business to all our friends and family. I recently organised a workplace function at Flyfaire after locating them on the web, I could not have asked for a better experience. We arrived at Flyfaire after a lovely scenic drive from Wagga Wagga, the country side was beautiful - green rolling hills and dense eucalypts. Les and Julianne, the wonderful owners greeted us at the door upon arrival, inside there was a roaring fire and delectable morning tea awaiting us (including some FABULOUS coffee). Lunch was magnificent, kudos to Julianne a very talented yet modest chef. Staff loved the story of the property and the philosophy behind the wines and farm, it is still the topic of conversation around the office. The afternoon was finished off relaxing with an amazing few glasses of Les' pride and joy. Flyfaire is very pleasing to the eye, the stone and timber detailing inside the building is just gorgeous, the improvements in progress are going to be wonderous.Paisley Robertson was provided with a truely unique experience, Les & Julianne you are such beautiful people and we were all moved by your passion and dedication to Flyfaire. We wish you nothing but luck with this fantastic venture. See you again in the very near future. Emily
