Beautiful place, secluded camping spots, scenery i stunning, including bush and sea views. only downfall is the mossies, bring plenty of insect repellent.
I have been lucky recently to have been shown the absolute beauty and unique beaut of the National Park. If by four wheel drive, LARC or by air you will not be disappointed. nature is on show at every turn,
Great day out. Fun at Middle Creek campground for the kids, And best of all the husband had fun 4x4 driving
After stopping at the looking and a nice 4WD track through the bush/rainforest you get to a beautiful beach
Lovely 4x4 trip very easy trip to some great unspoilt beaches would be a great camping spot. there is a camp kitchen and toilets at the Eurimbula creek camping grounds although no showers available. Good areas to camp just make sure you book first. sandies are there so you will need the sprays.
Love to walk on the beach, catch a fish and relax while camping. Fantastic sunsets and close to town. You can see the lights of Seventeen Seventy at night over the ocean
Get in touch with nature at Eurimbula National Park, a beautiful park situated in the heart of the Round Hill River. Great fishing and some the nicest beaches I have seen
It was a very hot afternoon when we arrived but the views made up for that. On top the breeze was most welcoming. Kids climbed down to the beach they loved it.
Was great fun driving through the National Park to get to the camping grounds and once there what a great view. The camping grounds themselves are well spaced out and the amenitities are really clean. Very peaceful and if you are lucky enough to be there by yourself what can you say. Relax and enjoy the tranquility.
Time was limited on this trip but pleased we took the time to walk the great tracks from the lookout carpark. These tracks are well made and easy to follow and give one of the best views of this part of the coast. A pod of dolphins even came out to play while we where looking out to sea. So cool!
We did this on a cloudy day to pass some time. In a morning we managed to see both Eurimbula creek and Middle Creek camp areas. The driving is a mix of corrugations, gravel and sand. Best in the dry season, I imagine the tracks are closed a lot in the wet. 4WD only and let your tyres down if you don't want a puncture. If you are camping I think Eurimbula Creek would be the better option, Middle Creek is more for boaties.
Awesome place so peaceful!!! Great place to relax and getaway. The 1770 beach hotel fantastic place to chill out, over looking the water, staff are friendly but the menue was very disappointing and there prices ouch!!!
I did a LARC tour which went along the beach on the edge of the national park and it is really nice. There is lots of history in the area so it is worth doing a tour to find out about everything.
From the start - If you don't like sand-flies, don't stay at this Camping Ground. They come in just before dusk and leave mid-morning. Camp Fires are not permitted so you need to lather on the Repellant. Apart from that, this was Heaven on a Stick for my Partner and myself when we stayed for 2 weeks in Dec 2012 - Jan 2013. We had 30 miles of pristine white sands and warm water to ourselves every day. We went to relax and that's exactly what we did. Agnus Waters and 1770 are only 1/2 hour drive away for supplies. Amenities are limited to toilets and potable rain-water. Book early to get a Site that is large and well apart from the others. Avoid the boat ramp end as it gets very busy with Day Visitors. The road in is easily passable with any 4WD or AWD. We towed a Jayco Finch camper with no trouble at all.
4wd access only but nothing too rough - great access so some isolated beaches and forest. Well worth the drive. Great camping spots too
