Wonderful views of the surrounding country , the contrasts of ploughed paddocks to,paddocks still under crop is a must see. There are clean facilities together with a children's playground . Check out the sculpture from stone.
Views across the Tablelands and a great place for a picnic, can get a little windy but is certainly worth a visit.
Great lookout with a children's playground and a few signs of things to look out for! Pleasant place to overlook the Atherton Tablelands.
Good view, and would be perfect but for the trees. They keep the wind down for locals to have picnics
Very clean Great views There is BBQ facilities Great for families It's a good fitness work out as well
There are great panoramic views from the official lookout and some quiet, interesting walks in the surrounding area. The lookout itself is a little difficult to find, but the route there is fairly well signposted as it weaves its way through suburban areas to get you there. Well worth a visit!
We had a little trouble finding the hill with the map given. The streets weren't named. We arrived at the lookout at around 5pm so it was beginning to get dark. It was also rainy and windy and quite cold. The lookout has an unusual sculpture and an undercover area where there is information about the area. There is also a playground a couple of hundred metres down the hill from the car park. The views probably would have been amazing minus the cloud and mist.
The best view looking over the Atherton Tableland. In the distant are Queensland’s two highest mountains.
A wonderful spot for taking in the sights of Atherton and the surrounding tablelands. Definitely worth a look
High on the hill in the middle of Atherton you get the opportunity to see the beautiful rolling hills of the Tablelands. setup well to take an esky to have a bbq lunch while you are there
