min min encounter show

My trip through the Encounter Centre far exceeded my expectations - I would expect this sort of attraction at Movie World or Dreamworld on the Gold Coast - not in a tiny country town with about 6 streets. Well worth a visit.

The Min Min Encounter show inside the Boulia visitor info is amazing. It's a 45 min show set in a round theatrical setting where u move from one scene to the next when the doors open. The experience takes you through the local bush yarn of the min min lights by those who have seen it....moving characters, amazing lighting, theatrics & even a huge truck are all enclosed within this show. The special effects truly are special. The last door leads you into an exciting cinema experience which I will withhold so u can enjoy yourselves....but it is stunning, spooky and leaves you with more questions than answers.... be careful with the really young, my 2yr was a bit frightened by the dark that most scenes are set up in, but nothing too serious. Fun, affordable $38 family pass & worthwhile seeing if stopping in Boulia..

just loved the whole experience and was blown away that out in the middle of nowhere there is such a high quality product.the staff were friendly and the information we were given was informative and the overall quality of the displays and media presentation was very proffesssional.it made a good stay in boulia a great one,highly recommended
