Outback Pics is located along Eagle street just past the Visitor information Centre and the Yeast to West bakery on the right hand side along the main strip. A great little gallery with a variety of interesting photo's. We stopped in for a coffee after viewing, which is located at the rear of the shop. Lovely, friendly staff.
Stop in and have a coffee and enjoy the outback in picture, Absolutely unique.I could have stayed and looked for hours. Very skilled and motivated photogragher's. Loved I immensly.
If you like all the colour, textures and surprises that are the Australian outback you will love the works on display in this wonderful little gallery housed in an old bank building with an delightful, tree shaded courtyard at the back. As lovers of the outback, photography and GOOD coffee we thought we'd stumbled across heaven. This is a gem of a place & well worth a visit .... or two, or three. Highly recommend.
What an oasis! This beautiful gallery has a coffee shop & garden cafe which will keep you there all day. The photography which adorns the walls captures the spirit of the surrounding outback & is priced so that everyone can leave with a piece of it! Highly recommended. We'll be back, special thanks to hosts Deb & Peter, visiting hostess Jess & the gorgeous child-loving pooch Lilly.
Each day I tried to have a memorable experience. Today's was coffee in Outback Gallery at Longreach, top end of Eagle St. The coffee (hot and city quality), mouth-watering, artistically presented poppy-seed muffin, stunning photographic gallery and an outdoor garden setting were more like what you would find in a cosmopilitan capital city of Oz, not in a small country town in outback Qld. The one thing I look for in an outback experience is peace. I got it here. And I just kept going back for more.
thank you so much....hope to see you when your next in Longreach, Hello from Lily! Regards Debbie 'Outback Gallery'
OutbackPics - is definitely a surprise - a gorgeous gallery & beautiful coffee shop with a outdoor area that is second to none! Easily the best coffee and tea in town defiantly the best service! Photographers Debbie and Peter Scott bring to life the true rugged beauty of Australia's outback. If you have ever wanted to take a little piece of the Australian outback home with you - there is no better way to do it than with one of the magnificent pictures displayed in outback gallery - and why not stop for a quick bite to eat - homemade muffins and hot coffee by an open fire mmmmm :-)
This is definately a place not to be missed in Longreach. Absolutely fantastic photography of the outback and around Longreach. The coffee is great and Deb's Sticky Date muffins are to die for.
