Great experience with top shelf service. We used MBC to drop us on Muggy Muggy beach, on Dunk Island, for the day. A real 'marooned on a desert island experience'. Luckily MBC packed the most amazing lunch of top quality seafood & cold meat so we weren't likely to go hungry. They also provided stinger suits, dive masks & fins as well as picnic blankets and a heap of fresh water. We then used the same service to take us snorkelling on the reef for a day. Fantastic local knowledge of the reef and area led to us being positioned with the most to see, right off the back of the boat. Once again, all equipment was provided and in great condition.Big thanks to Jason and Bec for helping us make the most of our holiday and making the 'must do' stuff easy and stress free.

On holiday from South Africa and chose a half day fishing experience with Jason to give my 11 year old son a taste is sea fishing. Sensational day fishing full of laughter in a magnificent location. Jason' s knowledge soon had us busy catching a variety of fish of good sizes and the challenge was on. Ultimately my son took the prize with a huge coral trout. Highly recommend Bec and Jase at Mission Beach Charters. We booked a fishing charter while staying at Bedarra Island and Jase went out of his way for us with everything . We also had a picnic at Doorilla Bay that Bec prepared and it was absolutely fantastic.Two super people who make sure your experiences are special.

I booked a surprise picnic for my husband's 40th. The hardest part was getting my husband to the boat ramp, everything else was smooth planning with Bec. The boat is comfy and practical. As the wind had picked up Jason dropped us at the far end of Dunk island. We relaxed with a bottle of bubbly and a superb picnic. Everything was provided and beautifully presented. My only comment would be some more bread as there were so many dressings and sauces to try, would have loved a big crispy loaf to dip into the balsamic & olive oil. Had a snorkel with some fish and relaxed some more. A great idea for a celebration.

As we drove to Mission the flume from the Tully Sugar Mill smoke stack was travelling straight up. This meant weather would be good with little wind. We arrived at the ramp with Jase ready to go, with all the fishing gear and supplies for a day on the water.As it was calm Jase had picked out a number of spots to fish and we traveled about 21.6 km out to one of his "secret" spots (somewhere behind "Beaver Cay") and fished pulling in trout and a mixture of other reef species.Nothing was too much trouble for Jase and if the "bite" went slow up with the electric anchor winch and onto another bommie or drift back into new water.All the fishing gear is new and easy to use Jase able to help with re rigging and tangles. All in all a great day fishing, easy pace , great tucker and valuable advice from a local who knows his local waters and enjoys showing them off to visitors. Beck (Jase's partner and obvious better half) picked us up at the ramp and the end of day and arranged to ice down our catch and can help with any logistical problem like transfers, tucker and accommodation.GREAT DAY ON THE WATER from Mission Beach and A GREAT WAY TO SEE a small part of THE GREAT BARRIER REEF!Rob A

We had a fantastic five days at the Bedarra Beach House. We used the Mission Beach Charters to take us over and back. The service was wonderful with every aspect of the trip made easy for us. Jason and Bec made us feel welcome and helped us get settled in for our five days of total relaxation. Service like this you dont always find and nothing was ever too much trouble. Emails were responded to quickly with questions about everything. We were always made to feel like VIP guests. Bec also has the Bedarra Beach House looking amazing and her little touches had us wanting for nothing while we were there. Great support staff to help in this special holiday was more than we could have wished for. A very friendly and professional operation that we can highly recommend.

Bec and Jase are happy to help people with their journey to East Bedarra Island. The information regarding food and what they could offer for your magical experience was great. Jase is an experienced skipper and we felt very safe in both directions on the water. Jase and Bec took us and all of our camping gear over to Dunk Island for a 5 day camping trip in July this year. We were a little concerned there wouldn't be enough room in the boat to fit all of our gear but it wasn't a worry, room to spare! A great team, very professional! Highly recommend!

I had always hoped to fish with my Dad,myself,my nephew and my son and catch some decent fish to make it even more memorable.From the first contact I made with Bec at Mission Beach Charters I was confident I'd made the right choice.Come the day the weather was great and Jason gave us an immediate feel of professionalism and knowledge.He is informative,friendly and runs a very tight ship with more then adequate gear and has a focus on safety as well.To say the fishing was great is the tip of the iceberg as the whole trip from start to finish was absolutely first rate so it's hard to pick just one thing ( although the trout,trevalley and spanish was the icing on the (fish) cake.....Ha Ha..).We spent 8 hours total and only brought some food and clothes.you can bring a camera and bags as there is heaps of storage on the well appointed craft.Adequate protection from the hot sun is a must of course although Jason made sure we were all o.k. and the boat has a great canopy.The second we got off Mission Beach Charters we wanted to get back on !!!We have already started to plan our next trip which will involve 2 days fishing minimum.To give credit where it's due,I don't think we could have had a better day anywhere else and the memories will last forever.Thanks Jase and Bec.See you again soon.

Wonderful service from the first email. We took a boat trip for my honeymoon to Bedarra Island. Quick replies, great information concerning my trip. Helpful phone calls ! They were even kind enough to store my rental car and have it ready for my return. The boat ride was safe, clean, professional and very enjoyable. I strongly recommend anyone to use their services if staying in the area. We could not have been any more pleased and satisfied with Bec & Jason at Mission Beach Charters. We can't wait to return!

i Cannot recommend Bec & Jason highly enough. We used them recently to get to East Bedarra Island and return and they were fantastic from the time of booking through to the time of coming home. Once booked Bec assisted with a very detailed list of information for shopping for provisions etc... we actually arrived early and Bec put our supplies in the fridge for us and then when we met at the boat Jason had it all stacked for us ready to go. The trip with Jason was smooth and easy and i highly recommend them when you are in this part of the world. Thank you Bec & Jase.

We were nervous about embarking on a self catering trip to a tropical Island with 3 children. Even prior to us leaving Melbourne, Bec and Jason had our trip sorted. Their local knowledge and desire to go above and beyond what we asked of them truly made our trip amazing. We can not recommend them highly enough.
