My partner and I did mountain bike riding and kayaking with Peter. He is such a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. It was my first time mountain bike riding and he was very encouraging and had great knowledge and gear which made it really enjoyable. I'd definitely go see Peter again next time I'm in the area.

Me and some friends just finished our one-day tour at Lake Tinaroo. All I can tell from this tour is that it was absolutely gorgeous! :) Aimee and Cameron have done an excellent job as our guides! We have learned a lot about the local nature - Aimee really has an answer to nearly every question - and we have seen a lot of fascinating animals such as a treekangoroo, heaps of waterdragons, a python and a treesnake and turtles. At noon we had a lovely little picnic with a homemade cake from Aimee (you definitely shouldn't miss that one). After that we went for a swim and finished the tour...I would do this tour again and again and I can just strongly recommend you guys to jump in a kayak when you are in this area!!! They do a really great job, you won't regret it! :)Cheers Vincent

We are a couple in our mid-sixties wanting a reasonably challenging adventure which would give us an insight into the unique rainforest area of the Atherton tablelands. Peter designed a day which saw us firstly kayaking for two hours on a lovely, quiet lake observing the many varieties of birds, animals and trees (all of which he was able to identify and name!!) - the highlight of which was seeing a tree-kangaroo. We then went on a 32km bike road on quiet roads and tracks which ended at a beautiful lake where Trixie met us with a lovely lunch. Finally we had a 30min walk around the lake with an option for a swim. Thank you Peter - your incredible knowledge and obvious love of the area meant we were given far more than we had expected to get out of the day.

On a recent trip to the Atherton Tablelands our family of four (ages 11 to early 40's) wanted to include some physical activity into the trip. Three members of the family are fairly active normally with various sports while the remaining person (me) is relatively inactive. We contacted Peter to discuss options. Peter came up with a day trip that was both enjoyable and challenging for all. We started the day with kayaking on Lake Tinaroo - a steady pace with regular stops to observe and discuss wildlife and the area. We were lucky enough to see two tree kangaroos - one of which was even on the ground - very unusual. After a beautiful morning tea, we went with Peter and Trixie to Mount Baldy to ride on the mountain bike tracks. Personally, I found the tracks challenging (even though we were on the 'easy' tracks) as I had never done mountain biking before. Peter was great. He allowed me to go at my own pace at the back while he and the others went ahead at their pace. They stopped at regular intervals which allowed me to catch up. Peter regularly advised of upcoming areas where I might want to 'walk' the bike. At no time did I feel as if I was holding anyone up. The mountain biking was following by a lovely chicken and salad lunch at Platypus Park.I would recommend anyone to do a tour with Peter and Trixie. They are able to adapt tours to suit a wide variety of fitness levels. Their knowledge of the area and wildlife is excellent - so much information is provided but you don't feel like you are being lectured. We had a wonderful time and are planning to do another tour with Peter and Trixie when we return to the Tablelands in April 2015.

We are a family of 6 ranging in ages from mid 40s down to 12 and had a friend along with us. We wanted a day of seeing the Tablelands without looking out a window or sitting in a car all day. This was fantastic. Peter kept in contact over a period of time before our holiday to taylor the day to suit our group. Very flexible as far as I didn't want to book in a day in case the weather wasn't very good. We gave him the dates we could do and he waited for the forecast and recommended the best day. WELL we had the best day. Thanks so much Peter. And also Trixie for the wonderful cookies, refreshing lime water and food provided along with trailing behind incase we needed a lift at any point. Highly recommend to anybody.

Very accommodating in regards to pace, perfectly timed rest breaks with chairs and refreshments. A true luxury! Peter and Trixie are beyond fantastic, felt like I was biking around with old friends back home but it was in the stunning outback. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic day on a biking excursion in the Stannary Hills/Irvinebank area with Peter and Trixie.Their attention to every detail made the experience feel very safe, yet relaxed. The equipment and food were superb.Their expansive knowledge of local history, geology and wildlife was conveyed with enthusiasm. The grand finale to our amazing day was a refreshing swim in Lake Eacham, a jewel of a crater lake surrounded by rainforest near Yungaburra. By the end of the day we felt as though we had made good friends. Thank you, Peter and Trixie!

last week we had the pleasure of going out with Peter for about 3 hours in search of assorted birds and mammals in the Tablelands. Peter was everything that we would hope for from a guide: knowledgeable, affable, talented at sighting elusive creatures, prompt, very affordable. We saw a number of platypus (platypi) and cool birds. Alas, no tree roos this time. We would certainly use Peter's services again, and can recommend him based upon our experience with him.

We had a wonderful time with Peter and Trixie, and they really provide a unique experience in seeing beautiful areas of the Tablelands. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys adventure and great companionship and friendship with Peter and Trixie as tour guides.
