昆士兰州立图书馆

面对布里斯班河，环境很不错，设计的很有情调。整体很安静，周五还有免费的音乐会，边看书边看看河景，可以惬意的过一个下午。

这家图书馆非常适合爱读书的人过来探索与汲取,对于孩子们来说也有很丰富的活动。里面有很多展览和很多好玩的事情。图书馆的位置很中心,而且是免费进入的。

昆士兰州立图书馆有着优质而且广泛的艺术书籍收藏,书籍的形式多样,包括了古抄本和雕刻。你可以提前打电话预订参观这些有趣的艺术形式。他们向单个旅行者和大旅行团都做展示。这里有好的公共服务,而且你可以参观到图书馆建筑中更多的部分。这里也有美术馆,可以看到不同的展览。你可能会被要求到一楼的安检柜台查验包。这个图书馆全年有有趣的演讲、研讨会和其他各类不同话题的活动。我推荐去之前看一下他们的网站。这个图书馆位于布里斯班的艺术区的中心,两边是昆士兰美术馆和现代美术馆。在那些美术馆中你可以逛上一天。这里也可以散步去南岸区的一切好地方。坐巴士、火车或者汽车到这里很容易。在现代美术馆、昆士兰美术馆、南岸区有充足的停车位,一整天的停车费只要92元(停车场通常在午夜时分关闭)。

我们旅行的时候,正巧赶上昆士兰州立图书馆举办的作家节。参加了面向我们的一些活动,一些展示发人深省。这里有很多把澳大利亚本土历史文化向全球化转变的政治观点。最好的作品是与你我相关的。布里斯班的一些海外作家虽然表达了自己对故乡的热爱,但是却不知道原始居民的去向。州立图书馆举办的一周一次的当地事件论坛向当地居民开放,每个人都是受欢迎的。我对布里斯班的记忆里总是有昆士兰州立图书馆的影子,依布里斯班河而建,是我们思想的前沿和中心。

该图书馆最近刚刚更新,大约三年前更新过一次。它不是一个完全现代化的图书馆,也不是拥有充分的资源的公共财富。这是一个真正奇妙的图书馆。

I recently did a photographic course in one of the meeting rooms of the state library- it reminded me of what a truly great area the whole precinct is. Lots of little nooks and crannies, oth inside and outside the building. Worth spending a day in the area exploring the library, the museum, and the art gallery- including with kids! Very nice areas outside along the river bank, perfect for a picnic or there are cafés in every venue. Great for families.

This is a surprisingly majestic and stately place to visit. I enjoyed the history and architecture. There was a pleasant lady there that gave me a tour. She was very kind. Not sure if she was an employee or volunteer. It is definitely worth an hour or so.

There is a play area for the kids, where they will read stories to the kids, they change the theme regularly too, so it's always different each time we go.

This place is just next to the Gallery of Modern Arts in South bank, and just overlooks the Brisbane river. History lovers and Research scholars will just love this place a lot. You will find a huge variety of books and magazines both in Print and digital media. The reading halls are quite big, have plenty of light and surprisingly very quiet for its size. The staff were friendly and seemed to go around doing their job with passion. There is also place to hold big exhibitions and heard there is a Writers exhibition event that takes place every year September.

This isn't a very amazing State Library. Yes it overlooks the river and the view is quite nice - but apart from that, there isn't very much. Quite boring. Melbourne State Library on the other hand...

Fabulous Venue. . next to the Goma. . .Very Helpful Staff. . Great informative free entertainment for Children throughout the year. . Educational and informative programmes are extremely enjoyable. . I am a Genealogist, and the resources and assistance of Staff is commendable

Top floor is very quiet with tables looking over the river. Staff are very helpful. Tremendous resource with books, journals, historic records, current newspapers and computer facilities. Laptops can be plugged in. Special collections relating to Queensland.

Great place to find a bit of quiet and peace in the middle of BNEs Cultural district. Free WiFi and lots of spaces to read a book, paper or study. even has a Kids Corner and activities. The Edge is a great venue to check out with lots of activities and workshop on offer, many of them free.

I found this a very interesting place to do research.Very helpful staff. Also has a Book shop and Eateries and Childrens play area at this Library. Of course to use the resources you would have to become a Library member. And it is close to the Museum and accessable by public transport to the Culture Centre

smashing place to visit, very interesting and staff helpful. lots to do and learn. every thing a child needs to study too.
