13th beach

5 minutes from Barwon Heads by car, this is our favourite beach on the surf coast. It's secure (lifesaver lookout on the dune) and so wide, it never feels crowded. Toilet block at the lower carpark (1min walk from the road).The life saver club should sell coffee and chilled drinks, they'd make a fortune!

Had 2 days here playing golf very enjoyable played both courses, wonderful weather for the week end that we were. made it a great week end of gold, would certainly return

13th Beach delivers everything a golfer could want. The two courses could be ten once the different weather conditions are taken into account. Staff at the pro shop and in the clubhouse could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Well done all round.

We ate here as part of a conference and the food was fantastic - far better than I was expecting and service was great.

Recently visited the 13th Beach Golf Links;l played the two courses, the Creek and the Beach which were in great condition. Warm welcome from the Staff, food was very good and reasonably priced. Nice Clubhouse. Its not a traditional golf club so dress regulations are in keeping with the relaxed atmosphere. Most enjoyable.

Great to walk along the cliffs, on the beach it is a bit soft and this is hard on old knees. Pack your board if you like to surf, but you will have to beat the locals onto the waves.

We recently had a 2 night stay. At $230 a night I was expecting a great experience but the unit was tired & slightly grubby with stained carpets, dirty windows and not well maintained.Right down to a box of tissues with just 4 tissues in it and no spare. At least there was a spare toilet role or it could have been worse. To top of this the unit is not serviced daily but that can be arranged for an extra cost. But there was a list of instructions on how we could assist the cleaners by doing their jobThere was also no options for any meals during the week but I accept I should have checked prior to booking. Such a shame because the golf course, facilities, service & meals are great. I would go back to the golf course but not the "resort"

The beach wasn't too crowded, I loved it! It was beautiful! Perfect for a nice day at the beach with friends!

We had a lovely time walking on the beach, although cool and windy the cliffs were interesting around the bluff and the rocks and pools added to the interest. There dune area gave you the impression of being a long way from anywhere and the walk along the top of the bluff was very pleasant

13th beach is an enormous stretch of gorgeous surf beach. In the summer it maybe patrolled but it is always popular with surfers and walkers and anybody who wants to drink in the beauty of a glorious stretch of wonderful beach. Swimmers should take care as it is a surf beach and can have the rips and undertows of any beach. Families should stay within the flags just keep as mindful of safety as ever. It is not a dangerous beach but like very beach can be.But it is spectacular and beautiful and amazing. Enjoy!

The two courses are quite different in character, and that makes it more interesting. The Beach Course has some very good holes in a modern layout. The Creek Course is not as challenging, but has enough water and bunkers to keep you focused. I would play there again.We stayed in the on course units and this was very convenient. The staff there were not really customer focused however.

This is a great beach, although be careful in the water as the waves here can get quite big. Lovely to get up early and walk along the sand when it is only those early morning surfers out and about and the morning mist is still drifting off the shore.

Great spot for all things surfing - not a family beach though. Great to go to one of the tournaments and watch the Pro's!

well worth a visit, two examples of playable golf courses that provide a challenge without being ridiculous. Clubhouse anf food also excellent
