Facility and decor needs spruce up! Definitely needs a fresh approach by owner as is very dated. My husband and I booked a full retreat spa day starting at 10.30 am finishing at 4.30 pm. Although we asked for a half hour break to eat something, this was not possible and we could not be accommodated. There was absolutely no food .... Not even a biscuit offered. We were only offered water ... Not even a cup of tea! The gowns provided were VERY old and made of cotton and I actually felt embarrassed. The brilliant standout was the massage by Jason which was amazing. The experience cost over $1100 and certainly disappointing as a full day experience. I would recommend this place for a single treatment ..... Not more than that. Cannot believe the other high ratings Aqua Viva has received!

What a lovely place with absolutely professional staff. No overcrowding like the bath house up the road! One on one attention where you are treated to a wonderful pampering. My facial was just great thanks and the mineral spa just what I needed. We were a group of 4 and all felt the same. If you want personalised professional attention in peaceful surrounds, away from the crowds of the large bathouse up the road, then you must give this place a try. Thanks Daryl.

Had my 1st day spa experience - well what can I say, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was AMAZING. I loved the whole experience but my favourite would have to be the facial. Thank you to the wonderful staff for your professionalism and for looking after us so well. My daughter and I will definitely be back for more of you wonderful treatments.

After a very bad night at the local accommodation we arrived at Acqua Viva in dire need of some pampering. We were warmly greeted by the manager and two lovely ladies appeared to whisk us away for our massages. Both therapists were excellent and we left feeling renewed and ready to face the rest of the day. This place is tucked away in Tenth Avenue and has some really interested items for sale in the front of store so well worth a visit. The manager and cafe manager next door were so friendly and welcoming and we felt the true hospitality of country town with a modern twist. At the end of tenth is a great walking track too so a great location and incentive before or after your treatment.

Last weekend, a friend and I had a lovely escape to Daylesford that began with a 2 hour session each at Acqua Viva Day Spa, Hepburn Springs. The owner, Darryl, was lovely from the time I phoned for a reservation 4 days beforehand, until after the treatment session ended. The spa is cosy, inviting. spotless and warm! The waiting room is quiet and a relaxing way to wind down before treatments. Lana, the masseuse and Lynn the facialist, gave us the most thorough, relaxing, professional and caring massage and facials. Darryl greeted us at the end, making sure we had all our belongings and saw us on our way (including directions to the Novotel Creswick). We felt very welcome and would definitely return to Acqua Viva (and we have done the other major day spas in and out of town previously). There is nothing intimidating and pretentious about Acqua Viva and yet it retains a professional presence with a really welcoming feel. Thanks Darryl, Lana and Lynne. From the very first moment of walking through the doors this was without doubt one of the most relaxing afternoons of my life. We were greeted like old friends, pampered with mud wraps and beautiful steam and Vichy shower, had one of the best massages ever - thank you lovely Lana for fixing my shoulder and allowing me to move my head again, you are amazing- bought some gorgeous jewellery, drank loads of lovely spring water and had a beautiful facial. I will definitely go back again and again for this brilliant package, I loved it all. Daryl thank you for your peaceful space and your very personable and friendly manner. Winners all!

Professional and enjoyed the calm relaxing atmosphere whilst waiting for the massage and the presentation and energy of the massage environment

Hello, I have recently visited your day spa for my "Grande Indulgence" package, what I got, however, was far from "grande". Your "Vichy shower" was more of a "Vichy Dribble", and your "Mud body masque and Salt scrub" was far from what I would call relaxing. The package sold so well on your website but what you get are two different things. If you want to charge this price for that level of service I would suggest you revamp your building and purchase new equipment. After visiting many Day Spas over the years I was very disappointed.....

My husband enjoyed his deep tissue massage.I however lay there for an hour whilst oil was applied - no massage to speak of. It was awkward and clearly an amateur.

My friend and I have been making a regular trip to Daylesford every year during the 1st tem school holidays and virtually every year we would have a package at Acqua Viva,. Every time is like the first experience. Daryl and his staff ensure we are treated like royalty with attention to detail and the perfect spa experience. We had the sea salt scrub and massage package.... worth every cent. The staff were attentive to our needs and offered a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Setting is beautiful and very calming perfect for recharging the batteries not to mention feeling silky soft as well. We have tried others in the area but keep coming back to Acqua Viva. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to choose Acqua Viva Day Spa for our joint birthday treat last month and spent a couple of hours in total bliss by way of a couples massage and facial. It was the perfect relaxing experience. Definitely worthy of a return visit soon.

Everytime when we escape from melbourne to daylesford, we book a massage and spa in this place. And every time we got what we want--total relaxation. Have tried several professionals there, they all know what they are doing. I had a neck plan last time, after intensive massage on my neck, it relieved a lot. You can totally feel the difference. So make sure u tell the massager which part u need to focus on before u start. The essential oil spa is my feverate part. The whole settin of the spa is focus on relaxation. You can see the trees outside of the window and smell the essential oil will definitely set your busy mind at ease. Have an intimate massage by ur partner there will be the best thing ever. Just make sure you don't do naughty things inside, because we will go back very often.

been to this place several times, never disappoint me with the massage, the environment is comfortable and relax. therapists are all very professional, staffs are friendly and helpful. will return again soon!

I booked a couples full body relaxation massage for me and my fiancee and it was wonderful. Neither of us wanted to get off the table at the end as we were so relaxed.
