From the moment we walked in to when we left it was beautiful and exactly what was needed. Anita was fantastic, very knowledgable and informative. Enjoyed every minute of the massage and facial and the whole experience really did unwind all the indulging from the day before. The day after was my wedding day and I couldn't recommend KDS any more for a pre wedding relaxation session. My wedding day was wonderful, I was relaxed and my skin was glowing. Thanks again, and I'll be seeing you again.

Hi Loren,You have made several points which I am happy to address – feedback can help us acknowledge a job well done, or evaluate and where necessary make changes based on this. We are serious about our clients experience and also have an internal anonymous feedback system including an optional space for you to request management to contact you. Relaxation lounge: magazines, books and filtered water are available for comfort of our guests – I am sorry you felt it was clinical. We appreciate décor preferences are very individual and we have Replica-Pierre-Paulin-Orange-Slice-Chairs arriving soon which will add more of a design element to the space without straying too far from the country feel people tell us they love. In our benchmarking and experience payment to secure bookings is the norm at Day Spa’s franchise or otherwise. Salon’s or Massage clinics operate differently.The Hydrotherapy Spa is a roomy three person Spa (see pics) and the Sauna is for two people. Friends and family enjoy this more private setting. Our Spa was covered at time of your appointment so you would not have been able to view it properly. Communal Spa’s are usually in large Spa complexes and we did inform thermal pools were not part of the property on your enquiry. On booking we discussed Microdermabrasion, which was contraindicated along with Peels due to your plans to sunbake after your visit. Feedback is good and at times we have to change things to ensure the treatment you receive is correct for your skin type and planned activities. You both booked for the Clarifying Acne Treatment however this was changed due to your planned sun exposure. One treatment was changed as would have been unsuitable due to very dry skin after consultation and agreement. You were also both provided samples of the salon only range to try at home. I am sorry you were not delighted with your treatment, but thank you for acknowledging the friendly and professional approach and that we are not a typical Day Spa! We are a 5 room, 6 therapist private Spa so we can offer a more personalised approach and for that we are grateful. Anita, Manager Koonwarra Day Spa

I love this place. We visited as a couple, both had 30 mins in the outside spa which is out the back on a verandah overlooking the bush, a couples 30 minute back, neck and scalp massage and then I stayed on for a facial whilst he waited in the lounge for me to finish. Total cost $230 which I think is pretty good value. The staff are skilled at what they do; not once do you feel exposed or vulnerable; I drifted in and out of awareness during the massage and facial, it was incredibly relaxing. Herbal teas and biscuits are available in the lounge; staff are attentive and welcoming.

We go to great lengths to ensure that people know of the expiry policy with our gift vouchers. We have always told purchasers that gift vouchers were valid for 6 months (not 12), and we ask them to inform the recipient of this. This point is also clearly hi-lighted on all gift vouchers & our message bank tells callers that expired gift vouchers can no longer be extended. As this business is for sale, this policy is now enforced with all expired gift vouchers.We were extremely busy, with many clients arriving and leaving, when you left your message (and there was no "pretty please" in your message - you acknowledged the 6-month expiry but still expected me to honour your voucher regardless). I decided to send you a short text message to inform you, again, that "your voucher could not be extended, sorry". I did this to avoid the inevitable verbal disagreement with you over the phone, because I didn't want to disturb our clients who were here to relax. It is unfortunate that you were unable to use your voucher at any time in the six months before it expired, as I am sure you would have enjoyed an hour of relaxation with one of our therapists.
