watson's mountain country trail rides - day tours

Haven't ridden a horse in years, so it was really great to have three hours to enjoy the mountains and valleys of Mansfield. Watsons ran things very smoothly and the horses were lovely. Everyone felt comfortable with the pace, mostly sauntering along, and only trotting or cantering if you were happy to and after careful explanation of how to do so safely. Give it a go...you'll thoroughly enjoy it! Just prepare for the sore leg muscles the next day

2 DAY 2 NIGHT HOWQUA VALLEY RIDE was the best weekend I could possibly hoped for! Weather was beautiful, driving up to Mansfield was relaxing, accommodation in bunk beds was awesome, bringing back childhood memories; camp fire at night under the stars and John playing guitar, Ian making sure everyone is happy and Mick feeding us well was all part of the package. When it comes to the rides, words are too poor to describe them. Michael and his team really are fantastic, the horses are so beautiful and well behaved. As for the views we came across while riding...priceless! All in all, a truly unforgettable experience.
