Apart from staying at one of the best B&Bs in Rutherglen (Bank on Main), we experienced what can only be described as "a tour with passion and style".Our host Doug drove us around for a three hour tour, to various wineries, in a 1925 Studebaker Phaeton. The weather was fantastic, and having the side covers up, we experience the fresh country air, leather seats, ample room for stretching the legs and comfort, and a special restriction too, noting the top speed was around 80 kmh.Very mindful of changes in temperature or conditions, he was able to close the sides down, keeping us warm if required.We were taken to five superb wineries; Doug ensured our comfort was paramount and our purchases safe too.He introduced us to many of the winery staff, ensuring there was a little extra pampering too. Great value four money and no requirement to worry about “drink driving” either.Thank you Doug, we’ll be back.
