Newtons Ridge have a fantastic range of cool climate wines. The cellar door service is fantastic and always a joy to visit. My husband and I look forward to visiting with family and friends and they never disappoint.

A lovely stop on the gourmet trail. The woman in the shop is very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and there is a nice range on offer.

Lovely small winery with a number of reasonable white wines including a sparkling and Chardonnay. A few reds as well. Surprising number of varieties for such a small enterprise. Lovely conversation with one of the owners.

One doesn't expect that the Great Ocean Road would allow a winery to thrive, but Newton Ridge Winery is lucky enough to be situated in the lee of the worst wind and rain. It's North facing vines seem to work for a few whites and a pretty good Pinot Noir. They also have a Shiraz that's as unlike the McLaren Vale genre as you can imagine. All fruit and drinkable. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer any questions.
