You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of art work in Upwey. The place is an aboriginal gallery and it is a must go place. There is a cafe which serves very delicious food and very reasonably priced.

We decided to visit Burrinja to show our visiting exchange student some Aboriginal art work. I looked on the website but wasn't convinced that we would find aboriginal art so I called them. The person on the phone could not be less helpful. I explained that we wanted to see Aboriginal art, and she told me to check the website. I explained that I had done this, but wasn't sure. She finally told me they do have Aboriginal art. So we visited Burrinja, only to discover that the gallery with Aboriginal art was closed for 2 weeks while art works were changed. What a shame the lady on the phone didn't tell us this when I called to save us the trip!
