valhalla winery

We visited Valhalla as part of the Tastes of Rutherglen tour.We were very impressed with the service we received and how passionate all the staff were. Considering how busy it was the staff were very attentive. Highly recommend a visit.

I visited few winery near Rutherglen and this one is my favorite ! We had a tasting session with Anton the winemaker, a really lovely guy with lots of knowledges. His winery use sustainable practice : natural vineyard practices, traditional winemaking techniques, and a straw bale winery in order to control the temperature naturally. And of course the wine is excellent and very affordable. I reccomend to try the 2012 syraz or an older vintage if you can. I also liked "the three little Birds" 2013 but every wine are good and very well making. Congrats !Florence

Small friendly winery with quality for money wines, we visited this winery over Easter it was quiet compared to the larger wineries and we appreciated the friendly conversation with the voigner
