We visited the tower for three reasons. This was a nostalgic trip back to Australia where we first landed as immigrants in the sixties. I brought my daughter to where she was born over forty years ago. We knew we wanted a great experience and began researching a really great venue to do that. Eureka sky tower seemed the perfect place. The views were great as we watched the sun setting, the reflection on buildings, and getting that birds eye view was just magical. I wish now we had just done that, but no we thought we'd treat ourselves to a great degustation meal, dining in luxury. Again we had researched the menu, my daughter had even rung from New Zealand to make sure that vegan meals were also catered. We were well prepared or so we thought. The meal was underwhelming, even old fat to deep fry the "zuccini flowers"...really bad tasting, also very unimaginative dishes, a minced tofu stuffed ? The tofu not flavoured at all..very disappointing. Two dishes of "heritage vegetables" really devoid of flavour except their own unique flavour. A dish of strawberries for me instead of cheese platter....again sour strawberries and the raspberry compote thickened with corn flour or arrow root...just not expected at this level of dining. The dessert I just didn't bother after a small mouthful of tapioca, I make it at home and tastes better...no surprises...not even what was called champagne foam, flavourless! So disappointing, !

GreAt views of Albert Lake circuit during the F1 Grand Prix, fabulous view of the Iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, AAMI Park and the Melboune Tennis centre, not to mention federation Square and Flners street station.....for a local Melbournian it fantastic to see how much the view towards Bolte bridge have changed........Etihad stadium now obscured by the growing number of Highrise buildings

It was my first time visit in Melbourne and my cousins brought me to Eureka. It was a fantastic experienced. We try the skydeck edge. Yes, we did survived the edge. It was one of my bucket list. The view or Melbourne skyscrapers and the sea was fabulous. Too bad we went there during afternoon and we left before sunset. I bet the view at night is fantastic too.

We went to the Eureka sky-deck last Sunday 8th March 2015 , all excited admission for a 2 adults and 2 children is $44 and to experience the edge where you stand in a glass box which extends out from the building is another $29 for a family . So all up $73 lucky we had a entertainment voucher this knocked of $20, but if you don't it's $73 . So we get our tickets and we are ushered by many attendants (this is why it costs a lot probably) we get to the top WOW ! the view is unbelievable 360 degrees, you can see everything. Now it's our turn to go in the edge , ooh the tension is rising" we all gonna die !!!!!" we get in the box the windows are automatically ghosted , the attendant tries to strike fear into us , the edge box extends out and the glass windows become clear and boom ! What a Dud and I don't like heights , it's more scarier inside the building . I was expecting a full glass box with minimal metal edges there's less glass and heaps of metal framing so it really kills the excitement . So save your money and just enjoy the 360 degree view from within the building this far better than the EDGE . regards Paul and Cathy

Fabulous experience just make sure you go early to avoid the crowds. Food and drink inexpensive for a tourist attraction. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is one of the places that change radically from day to night. During day, vast view around you (unless you get an overcast day) where you can see miles around. Night, you can see beautiful Melbourne all illuminated. The Edge is a bit expensive and it might disappoint you (mostly if you get in the room with many other people). Not cameras/phones allowed so they will charge you for the pic, not worth it.
