Great parmi's , love the Wed, Thurs Parmi specials $15 , great value and great feed, Chicken breast on the menu , a must try if you like chicken!All round great atmosphere, very friendly staff and food is great and reasonably priced! Even the barista made coffe is good :-) Will definately go back there next visit to Ballarat.

Good menu choices, food was faultless and well presented. I had the chilli and lime prawns and then the Atlantic salmon followed by a yummy lime and coconut cheesecake. I thought the entree and the glass of wine were a little pricey but the quality of the food lessened the pain. Staff were very helpful and the plates were cleared in no time. Well done team Red Lion.

Went here with the tribe for a meal as it had the kids playground. Great layout with the tables close to the playground door so you can keep an eye on the little ones. Lots of other families were there as well so it seemed popular with the locals. No direct line of sight into the playground though. Meals were OK but the nasi goering was very poor. The duck spring rolls were a treat. The beef satay was a bit bland as well. Average overall is saved by the family friendly area.

The restaurant RedLion was nice also, however on arrival it was a bit unclear where to go to wait to be seated and where to pay, and meals were a bit pricy but overall the staff were lovely and helpful and even used our lactose-free cheese as requested (as my partner is lactose intolerant).
