Me and the boyfriend spent a lot of time here during our short stay in Bright and fell in love with the place. Got there and had a short but enjoyable tour with Shaun, had the tasting paddle over great conversation with Dave (he's fantastic at his job!). We came back for dinner and more beer later in the evening, the food is what stopped me from giving 5 stars as the malt salt fries and mac and cheese were both a bit underwhelming, pizza was tasty but a bit soggy. The beer is OUTSTANDING though. Best IPA I've had and the Smoko put boyfriend in heaven. We made a third trip back the next morning to get takeaway bottles, and a Brewery t-shirt for the man as he loved the place that much. The female staff member on bar was a pleasure to deal with and knew her beer just as much as Dave the day before. The place has a wonderful relaxed vibe and the staff are excellent. We are already planning a trip back to Bright and the Bright Brewery is a big reason for that.

We had a few new bar staff at the time, who may not have been fully confident in all aspects of the job, so we will ensure that a strong customer focus continues to be a priority during staff inductions. My 2 kids and I dropped in for a meal en route to a week at Falls Creek. The kids loved the vibe...plenty of bearded dudes with baseball caps & tats but also lots of representation from the family crew. In short, a great mix of punters and all keen for a nice meal and a yummy bevvy or two. Steak sandwich for my 13 yo son. Serious hunk of scotch surrounded by all thue usual trappings. Killer hot dog for 11 yo daughter (Dad, what's saurkraut?). She hoovered it. As for moi? Opted for a scotch fillet from the specials board. Congrats to the kitchen for serving a really choice cut of meat at the rare end of the medium rare spectrum. Superb. And no ridiculous sticker shock at the end. Very good value for $ meal. Highly recommended. p.s. Great service too.

On a chilly July afternoon we stopped in to while away an hour or so. Decided on the beer tasting paddle ( 6 for $12.00 ) and braved the cold on the heated terrace. So pleasant to sit there overlooking the park with the river rushing past just 50 metres away.Although we didn't have a meal, the menu looked well priced. Worth a visit when in Bright.

The tastefully renovated Bright Brewery produces 6 tasty award-winning beers: order their sampler so you can try their quite distinct flavours. They also serve good local wines and the pleasant staff we talked to were knowledgeable about both beverages.The food is basic but good for the price: the Greek pizza and the pork schnitzel with bearnaise sauce were both tasty, and the chips were fantastic, even for someone who normally never eats them. We were there on a very cold night so enjoyed the indoor warmth, though some hardy souls braved the outdoor seating under the heaters. On a fine day the seating above the river would be lovely.
