You arrive in the morning, nothing to do all day but you have to because they are wasting your time. The show of horses it at 4 and a half in the afternoon. All the rest is not that interesting.
This a nice place to take children and animal lovers to see and interact with farm animals, We didn't mamange to get to the cows, and have a good time feed the avestruz, overall is nice experience.Besides this there is an adventure package that includes Canopy and two crossing via hanging bridge or tirolesa, It save a lot a of foot walk,Very nice expierence.
We had a beautiful day in the Park. All shows are "only" in Spanish. Most of the shows where very funny and/or stunning. Everything in the Park is somehow connected to the nature. All ice cream you can buy has for example been made with the local products. Same for the rest of the food if I understood right. My favourite shows where the pig, dog and horse shows. You are able to get very close to most of the animals in the park and the people there always try to integrate the guests into the shows etc., which makes it a bit more fun. My personal highlight was milking a cow and then drinking the fresh warm milk ;-)
For the time and cost of getting to the park, a cruise or Disney World is much more intetesting. An update in entertainment rides and better roads leading to the park are a must.
Fun day out for kids. Wear comfortable shoes though! A fair amount of walking. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
We found the entrance fee to be expensive to what they have to offer if we compare with Parque del Cafe and other attractions we have visited around the world. It is clear that with this high cost the animals are very well maintained. They need to have activities in each of the centers. For example, went to see the dogs and there was nothing to do; just look at them. The same happened in other areas. They should not charge additional to use the canopy. Some of the rest/cafe areas need a revamp. They need to improve the transportation there is a lot of walking to do and we never saw the carriage that transported visitors. We enjoyed the pig show with the "trovadores" and the section where children could milk the cows. Even though we were not pleased that they charged 1 dollar for the plastic cup to put the milk.
It is a great place to spend the day specially with kids. The view from there is beautiful. Kids can interact with animals and go to some shows. For teenagers or adults you can do canopy and enjoy the view as well.
This place is very special. They offer a huge collection of different types of animals - every type of cow, cat, dog, horse, zebra-horse, pig etc. you can imagine. This is far superior to anything we have in the United States. You can purchase a cheaper pass which allows you to see all of the animals or a complete pass that allows you to go to all of the shows. We purchased the cheaper pass, and were kept busy for five hours, so I think you should spend a full day if you see the shows as well. They have an amazing zip-lining course as well for a small additional fee. We even happened across some piglets in the process of being born!! This place is not to be missed.
With a lot of attractions for the kids. Good restaurants all along and amazing scenery from beautiful mountains.
I took my children (3 & 2) and I didn't think it was worth the money at all. I don't like the fact that they charge according to height of your child rather than age (my 2 year old is a lot taller than a 2 year old here but didnt enjoy it any more than a Colombian 2 year old who enters for free). Also disliked employees in your face selling things. Compared to Parque de Cafe which you can't see in any other country this was definately a let down.
I enjoyed very much with my kids. Horse and Dog stations were the best. Avoid Campo Alirio and Flor Azucena's Comedy, long and repetitive.
This place make your day an experience and a learning place for children. People who works in the park are helpful and caring with seniors and children. My suggestion especially in the pigs area is to isolate the restaurants a little from the smell, we ate some things there and we really could not enjoy our food. For that reason.
In the style of US man-made, closest to reality experience, one can enjoy here some history, coffee-process information, fun games etc. Fairly inexpensive and worth your time.(PaNaCa=Parque Nacional de Cafe)
I loved Panaca park, and so did my 4-year-old daughter. There were wonderful shows, animals everywhere. Be warned that there's a lot of walking, I personally enjoy the exercise. It was a fabulous time, I hope I can go back again one day.
Since my wife and I do not have kids we thought this would be boring for older adults. The the other two couples we traveled with did have kids and we all thoroughly enjoyed the Panaca, it is very large so be prepared to walk uphill and downhill. A lot of animals to look at and I think we attended 2 shows which were fun. The only problem is I did not understand spanish so it was hard to follow along with the shows.
