It is very quiet , very white sand , water sports at very low cost . It should be more than 1 day there to enjoy the island.

Crossed to coche through a full dat, "Moon Dancer". Price paid rel. to service, not worth it. Go to playa El Yaque and buy a ticket to cross to coche. Way cheaper, sooo worth it! You can buy food at coche and rent seats. Isla coche is beautiful. Snorkel is ok but people touching the sea stars etc not cool at all. The best beach I've visited in hole Margarita trip. Hotest water and transparent.

Its a very nice beach with all inclusive hotels. There is nothing else on it. As i said, the beach is really nice, but its always the same. I am sure that if you stay to long you might get border. There are really nice beaches throughout venezuela s to stay just in Coche

Decided to visit Coche as it was recommended by a friend. Did a full day trip and yes the island is like a little bit of paradise, from the lovely hotel which you arrive at to the clear water and white sandy beaches. It's was a little cloudy on the day I went but when the sun came out you really didn't want to go! Would go back definitely and spend more time there. The speedboat across was a little choppy though! Get a bigger boat if you are not confident of water!

Easily reached by small boat from the El Yaque beach. The main beach on Coche island is by far the most attractive. You can get a taxi to drive around to other places, but there's not that much else to see.

I visited the island on a day trip with an organised tour for about $25 which included transfers to/from the port, boat trip, lunch, unlimited beer/soft drink and deck chair hire. So overall, an absolute bargain! The beach on the island is actually not that impressive and there are better beaches available on Margarita itself. The trip to the island is however great fun as you travel there on a catamaran with music pumping and some very animated staff members. We had a crazy Argentinian host who was extremely welcoming and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. There are some good value tube rides ($2.50 per ride) and jet ski hire ($20 per 30 mins) available on the beach which are great fun. Overall, it's a worthwhile trip if you've got time but if time on the island is short then head to Parquito which is a far nice beach and has waves.

The island has beautiful beach and all inclusive hotels. You can also take a full day with several operators. I recommend to take the full day from one of the hotels. In coche you can go for snorkeling, kite surfing, go in the banana and many other funny activities. Below is about one of the operators to go to Coche. About the trip with Infinity Catamaran. I took a full day with INFINITY, a company which services includes Catamaran to Coche and Cubagua. Do not take Infinity Catamaran, they offer food and drinks and a full day that start at 9:00 am if lucky and ends at 3:00 pm. The trip takes 1:30 hours. The food in the boat is a jam and cheese sandwich and the food in the beach is a joke, no snacks and the drinks are just sodas, beers and vodka. In the way back more than 50% of passengers got seasick and the crew were just laughing. Last words:Go and visit coche but choose wisely the company who will take you there.

We took the full day with all included, open bar from 11 am to 5 pm.All you can eat buffet and afternoon snack. Very nice entretainers at the pool . Jet sky rental on the beach $15 for 30 min. You can have a nice massage on the hotel spa or on the beach. The water is clear blue and the sand is white. We travel with family 7 people and we all enjoy it. If you want to go outside el Yake , Coche is the best option.

The Island of Coche has the best beach in Margarita. Although it is another island in itself, you can reach this scantly populated island easily. You can choose to go in a small boat ride from near playa el Yaque, you can stay at one of the very few hotels in the island or you can take a full day excursión as me and our family did. We took a catamarán to Coche (1hour 20min sailing each way) We chose this option as we Heard that the hotels in Coche are not great in there is absolutely nothing to do at night. I had been to Margarita many times but never been to Coche. It is definitely worth it for a day. Next time I would take the boat transfer because it would give more tine to actually spend at the beach opposed to any party boat/catamarán excursión.

Absolutely fantastic this place. Clear blue water and sandy white beach.. I truly recommend a lot of sunblock as everyone, when we left, were lobster red.We took a Catamaran trip from Margarita to here but if you can, stay 1 night. The sky would probably be amazing as it is a very quiet island. I love this place.There is a guy that sells beauty products. If you see him, do buy the nacar scrub and the clay one but do not buy the coconut cream. Even though it is lovely it has no preservatives and literaly lasted 3 weeks.There are activities there like wakeboarding, etc. Do join! They are a lot of fun! :DThere are two restaurants, if you come with the catamaran tours, normally they include a meal with those restaurants. I loved this place. Next time I visit (Sure I will!) Will definitely go again and stay 1 night at least.

Nice and white sandy beaches with calm water. The resorts are pretty average, but you cant beat those sunsets :)

I have visited many beaches in Margarita, but nothing compares to coche, the sand is almost white, tha water is just perfect, the temperature is the best, is cool. The beach in the part of punta blanca hotel is the best beach that i have visited in the whole nueva esparta state.

When I decided to go to Coche Island I did not have much information about it. I had only seen some photos but I had the feeling I was making the right choice. I was not disappointed. The place is worth visiting. A real Paradise: White sand, palm treees a wonderful sea. It was great.
