The place lacks maintenance and needs urgent renovation. Anything you want to do inside is charged and despite this fact it is obvious that no maintenance is carried out on the attractions. Honestly, I feel like that place is an accident waiting to happen. Do not recommend.

We found Santa, the real one, not a doll, but the man himself sleeping in his chair. My 3 old daughter looked at him expecting some talk but nothing came out of him but his closed eyes and no attention to the kids. It was 1:30pm, sad. If the old man is so tired why not put another one to work in shifts? The entrance cost R$20 for each and R$15 for small kids, when you get into the park you still have to pay for almost everything you will do like R$10 each for a short monorail ride, R$5 for a truck-train, R$1 for a mini train and a poor condition carousel. Well at least my daughter did have a great time, and I had a good time spending with my family but the place is too expensive for what it charges, no smiles or greetings from the staff with a huge lack of Christmas spirit and the sleepy Santa. In overall I do not recommend this attraction.

Christmas time of course is the better time to go. The place has a machine to make fake snow. It is fun! Specially if you get to know the real snow. It turns to be a soap rain! You are going to find Santa's house built in details inside and outside. Also, follow the path to see the local animals. Dear mostly, a surprise to local as Deers are not a native animal.

I really enjoyed Aldeia do Papai Noel, and my 1.3 year son did it too. The place is big, well organized and I liked a lot that the attractions are in-line organised, so it's easy to follow a single route and see it all - but also possible to wander around freely.I visited it on a Monday, and my guess is that's why I felt the place a little empty - not only of visitors but also of staff. I met only four staff persons all the way on my 2-hour long visit. All in all is a very beautiful spot and if you let christmas flow into you, it'll be a lot funnier. It charges per entrance, but some rides inside are also separately charged. I thought if fair, for the entrance fee is not expensive.

Dont go. Dont tell your 3 year old daughter that she will see Santa Claus when she goes to Gramado, because then you will have to take her. Ok, for sure the day that went it was a little foggy - but what we could see because of the weather was not worth seeing. Santa was the biggest let down. He didnt talk to my 3 year old (asides from saying "Sit there and take the photo") - I expected him to talk to her, ask her her name etc... NOTHING. After leaving his house, my daughter asked to go back - Santa was fast asleep on his chair, snoring. While we were there (and while my daughter stared at him disappointed because he was asleep) he was snoring so loudly that he choked himself. Lets just say that I was not impressed. Asides from that, the snow was pathetic and everything just did not look cared for. Not worth the R$18 per adult nor the $15 for a 3 year old. (and that does not include the monorail ride). I am still disappointed because I love Christmas.

Parque Knorr has ever been a beautiful park in the mountains of Rio Grande do Sul State, the so- called "Serra Gaúcha". However, I found the "Aldeia do Papai Noel" (in English, the "Village of Santa Claus") completely disappointing and a total waste of time. Adults can easily reach it by walking from downtown and will find it lacking of good and professional maintenance. Overall painting is old, needing urgent renovation. Several souvenir stands, displayed around the Village, sell the very same Chinese kitsch stuff. The museum of toys was rather dirty and seemed to haven't been cleaned in ages. The animals brought from northern Europe: I saw one single deer and one reindeer, looking very old and tired to walk around. The monorail charges you almost the price of the entrance fee for a very small ride. Employees weren't friendly at all, almost ignoring the few tourist that fell in this trap on a rainy and cold mor! But Santa is there, and your little boys and girls may enjoy to greet him!

The Santa Claus Village is very well organized, with fake snow in a part of it and beautiful articulated toys. Also, you have a very good landscape of the Quilombo Valley from there.Negative points are the high price of the entrance and the monorail tickets.

I went last week with my 1 year old and my 6 year old. Outside temperature was 4oC. None of the places has heaters. We waited 25 minutes for the carrousel driver to come and he has never arrived. May be because this was free attraction.Besides you pay to enter, inside the park, monorails is paid apart, little train (actually a tractor) is paid apart. Place is full of stairs. I wasn't able to go to the different places with my little one in the cart. NO SUPPORT FOR WHEEL CHAIRS WHATSOEVER. Best time to visit would be at sunset, but the place closes at 6:30pm on weekends (??)We visited this place 4 years ago and nothing has changed from them to now, except for the deers.

I imagined a place full of joy, but everything is low maintained , the santa Claus is sad, and everything is done to take your money, because costs a lot more than in the other places...

Serge_P

it is overpriced, and after you're in, they make you pay more for some attractions (monorail and the small train). The decorations look dull and way too banal.

AndreCunha

The tickets are very expensive for what we can see. And, inside, you have to pay more for some rides.

Santa Claus Village in Gramado is pretty and well organized and attracts attention in any person, whether child or adult. It is a large local and also has artificial snow. Who likes Christmas and Santa Claus is worth. Its no free.

Voltarei Para levar meus netos.
