It was a nice experience. It worths the money paid to get in. The place has different kind of gardens with its own flowers and trees. But certainly the best part of the garden is it's sightseeing place. Huge view of the whole area.

Very nice, well-kept PRIVATE gardens, with a large labyrinth and extraordinary view of the hills. Up-hill walking, so beware if you have a physical condition or travel with elderly. It also somehow expensive and they only take CASH, no credit cards, so be prepared. TIP: lots of sun and not many shades, so bring sunblock, hats and sunglasses during summer- autumn

It is a beautiful place to visit. Well organized and the environment is calm and enjoyable. We all loved to be there, including my 12 yrs. daughter. Drawback, they do not accept credit/debit cards, cash only. Be advised!

This is a rural property turned into a "garden collection" . So you can amble on a path and see different kinds of plants arranged in different styles. And it has a gorgeous view to a large valley and the opposite mountains. It is a pleasure to spend some hours here.

My family and I chanced upon these gardens while visiting Campos do Jordão. What a great surprise that exceeded expectations. The type of flora and fauna were diverse and very well kept, and the walk was very refreshing with a beautiful view of a valley. The kids loved the two mazes and ran around in the fresh air. We had lunch at the restaurant which served fresh salads and food. We highly recommend and will be back.

Very beautiful place! Great view! Many flowers, explanations about the gardens. It's not good for wheelchairs and strollers.

The view is very interesting and in early January there were many different flowers/plants to see. Recommended!

Very nice place for relaxing and spend some time but quite expensive (25 reals adults, 15 reals students). Not must see but could spend some nice time there.

It is a very interesting garden. It is a place that fits all, romantic visit, family visit with kids and teens, and even with friends.You will find different areas with different plants including theme gardens within the garden. You will be able to spend 3 to 4 hours there easily.It is not an easy walk 'cause you will walk up and down hill and is not for challenged motion people. They are not prepared for wheelchairs or scooters. Also you will find seating place just on the top hill near by the restaurant.There is a restaurant on the top hill and a plant nursery that is open for visitation during summer and winter season. Off season time nursery is not available for visitation. Hat or an umbrella is recommended on sunny days 'cause natural shade is not available on many areas.When driving to the Amantikir, take the highway option... it is much easier to get there through the highway.Last of all, enjoy your time there.

It's super beautiful in the summer! The flowers are exquisite, the gardens are smaller than they look in the pictures, but still beautiful. My 5 year old enjoyed the experience as much as me and my husband.

I liked everything because I just love gardens...it´s inspiring and relaxing...just go and enjoy the flowers , the view... a magic place!

Tip: ask if your hotel has a deal with Amantikir and you can get cheaper tickets. Payed 10 reais per person in Oct 2014.The garden is beautiful so get your camera ready for some wonderful pics. It sits at a high point of the mountain and has panoramic views - definitely a plus. Kids enjoyed the gardens as well, with space to run, fun at the maze and the flowers and lavender smell.Our whole visit took about 2 hours because we took a whole lot of pictures. 40 minutes should be enough for a quick visit.

These are beautiful gardens to be visited with a great view to Mantiqueira mountain rage. There is an fee charged, but I consider it necessary to maintain the space.

The gardens here are stunning. There is a gorgeous view of the mountains, and we all felt that we could spend hours there enjoying the nature. There is also a really great maze that is really well done! So much fun :)

This huge garden has plants, flowers and a maze where you can have fun! Located on the top of a hill, not only you'll have an unique contact with nature, but also a spectacular view!
