Costa da Lagoa is really panoramic when you see if from the bus or the car, before the road descends to it. It's beautiful and very popular among locals. There are a lot of water sport opportunities, kite and wind surf lessons, paddle boarding also. Nonetheless, as far as I know all the sewage water from the houses around the lake goes directly to the water. So maybe it's just better to observe it from the shore.

What I love about Costa da Lagoa is the feeling of authenticity! A small fisherman village in which you can only get by boat or by hiking a marvellous trail through atlantic forest on the banks of Lagoa da Conceiçao. If you are travelling to experience the real culture of this part of Brasil that was settled by Azorian people, you can not loose it! Super recommend it!

Good place to see some monkeys. We saw some during the hike. Easy walk for beginners. You can come back to Laboa da Conceição by boat

Barra da Lagoa is a place with houses along a chanel going to the ocean where people have their boats parked next to their houses. If you have one go there otherwise go to Praia Mole or Joaquina closeby

If it is a sunshiny day it is worth going to walk at Costa da Lagoa and enjoy the view from the Lagoon. I enjoy it very much. The landscape is fantastic and unique.

Amazing place! A guided tour can be hired with the guys from Lagoa Boutique, with Vegetarian meal included. Great hicking experience!

It takes almost 1 hour and a half to get there from the center of "Lagoa da Conceição" it's an easy and pleasure walking along the coast of the "Lagoa" and when toy get there you are gonna see a conserved neighborhood by the (açorianos - people from Açores - Portugal ) and very good and simple fish restaurants. You can return by foot or with a boat that is very cheap.

Really nice place that can be reached only by foot (easy trail) or by boat. I recommend walking one way and taking the busboat on the way back. Just amazing, well worth visiting!

I trekked from Lagoa Da Conceicao, out to Costa Da Lagoa. About a 2 hour trek, a few rocky stretches but not too demanding.Great views and a few nice little bars / restaurants when you get out to Costa Da Lagoa - although beware there's nothing for the first hour and a half of the trek. So if hot, worth taking a drink along.When you get out to Costa Da Lagoa, you can get a boat back to Lagoa Da Conceicao for 7 reals (I think). Takes about 45 minutes, although I would recommend the walk back if you can do it - boat is noisy and diesel fumes are fairly strong.Overall, a relaxing walk with great views, and friendly bars / restaurants when you get there.

Amazing!Love the boat ride, the price was awsome, they have amazing reataurants, a nice little fall and just see the lagoon eating wihle having some beers!!

I lived in Lagoa da Conceição for 5 months. Walking down the street and looking at the Lake was amazing! Still wish I was there!!

Not to be missed. One day programme. Amazing scenery. Having a meal in one of the restaurants is a must

Beautiful beach definitely worth visiting. Depending on the season it can be completely deserted; few people were there late Friday afternoon.

This is a great area to stay or visit. Plenty of shops and restaurants for all types of budgets. The beach is really nice. There are many budget hostels to choose from. Backpacker Sharehouse is one of them... stayed there and it is cool. There is beach volleyball. And turtle releasing on the weekends. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Also do the Florianopolis Bike Tour!

O passeio de barco, em si (R$15,00 ida e volta) não tem nada de mais. Mas chegar à Costa da Lagoa é uma delícia. É uma espécie de vilarejo onde não transitam veículos. Há a lagoa, uma cachoeira, muita mata nativa e uma ruazinha gostosa para se andar a pé. Além das várias opções de restaurante, é claro.
