地方不错,结合了艺术、音乐,在海边古老的建筑里有一个很酷的酒吧,在那里你可以一边欣赏日落一边品尝美味的食物。周六的时候,在建筑外的水面上会有爵士演奏。

评价一个博物馆有很多不同的方式和角度。我通常更关注博物馆里的收藏品,不过这个地方不一样。先不管它里面陈列的东西,只因为它的地理位置、风景和它的建筑本身就已经让它成为了我最喜爱的博物馆之一。它在海边,是一个很美的殖民地时期建筑。它就是那种你根本无法再创造出来的地方。除此之外,我觉得它里面的收藏品也非常的棒。博物馆里还有一个看起来很不错的咖啡厅,不过我没进去,所以我也不敢担保它的质量如何,不过咖啡厅里的布置看起来非常梦幻。最后,他们这儿每周六晚都有一个爵士之夜,我参加过两次了。一流的音乐,顶级的音乐家,再加上这里全市最好的地理位置。你还可以买食物和饮品。如果我住在这里的话,我肯定会是这里的常客。

这是个美丽的地方。古建筑,新的雕塑花园和自然景观超赞。这片区域刚刚重装过,所以,除了雕塑花园没有其他展品。就算没有展品,建筑、餐馆和日落景象都让MAM成为必去之地!

餐厅位置很好,(遗憾的是博物馆没有开放-去之前最好打电话询问,不过餐厅总是营业)。食物和服务都很好,而且价钱便宜。位置稍微有点偏僻,也须需要打车,或者让餐厅员工帮你叫辆出租车送你回去。

在现代艺术博物馆的太阳咖啡馆的晚餐简直是一个不可思议的经历!我们的餐桌是在露天拱门下的,可以俯瞰日落时的水面。很漂亮。石头地窖的氛围很安静温馨,食物很好吃,价格也很合理。在17世纪殖民环境下就餐真的是个很特别的经历。在萨尔瓦多这样繁忙的城市这里真的很特别,当你想安静的吃个晚餐的时候,肯定会把这里作为首选的。

During all year long, on Saturdays, the Bahia Modern Art Museum (MAM) holds a Jazz Jam Session on its grounds. The show starts around 5 PM and proceeds after a gorgeous sunset until about 9 PM. The musicians are the best that Bahia has to offer (not forgetting that this city rivals Rio de Janeiro and Havana in terms of people playing and dancing on the streets). Many big-time jazz musicians have been welcome to jam. Come and enjoy! (Fee is equivalent to a few dollars; no parking)

There wast just one room open, and the girl codn't even explain when the othrer salas were going to be available..

Very historic setting, awesome view of the bay of Bahia de Todos os Santos and looking back up at the city. The Sat. evening Jazz sessions are wonderful. Very relaxed and very stunning backdrop...friendly musicians and impromptu Jam sessions with travelling musicians...don't even dream of missing it. The Solar da Unhao restaurant underneath the main building in the area where the slaves were kept still with the push cart rails in the ground is a 5 star experience. Fantastic kitchen with a spectacular menu! Service like you would not expect! We went back several times, even when the museum was closed. Some of our best memories in Salvador were here.

The museum was open the Wednesday evening about 4:30 when we stopped in. There was little inside to recommend it. But it was a peaceful place to sit outside as the sun was setting. It was a very nice modern building surrounded by a beautiful fence, overlooking the bay. But below was a wonderful restaurant and folks have mentioned the staircase... something that was in the "old museum" down the cliff to the left of the current museum. The restaurant below I can not find. I have the name written as Solar Contera... but nothing like that appears for me on the web or on this site. It is very old and rustic with uneven stone floors and brick walls. The food was very good at a moderate price. But best of all, visiting here at this time of evening is wonderful for the sunset. Even watching the lights come on in the favela next door was lovely. Then to go in for a lovely dinner was the perfect ending to our day.

The MAM seems to be closed throughout the end of year season and January 2015. The website is not functioning, there isn't even a sign at the gate. You just have to go there by taxi to be sent away by some guard who doesn't speak or understand anything but Portuguese. Mmmmh, nothing to write home about....

Best place in town for the sunset, fantastic jazz music on Saturdays, full of young and very cool people.Totally unique in many different ways.

The Solar do Unhão (MAM) is a wonderful mansion with a chapel beside. Facing the Baía de Todos os Santos with its gorgeous view. But as a museum is a shame with nothing inside. The only thing that worth a visit is the wonderful staircase, a piece of wood,beautifully crafted in the middle of the main lobby. The MAM's cafe is the place where at saturdays they play jazz music at sunset.

but there is a jazz show every Saturday starting at 17:00. Take a taxi because it is far from parking or busstops. Young and old come to enjoy the relax atmosphere

Every Saturday you're able to see the sunset while great musicians are jammin' some Jazz... I totally recommend it
