Indescribable boat ride on the Iguaçu River , he did spend a moment we will never forget . Intense energy was felt by us, at the time the ship was near the falls
You can walk along the river on both the Argentina and Brazilian side of the river. The Argentina side takes a few hours of continual walking over steel bridges as the water flows beneath your feet. You will see caiman, butterflies, and turtles along the way.
What force water has...this river shows how it uses the Iguassu Falls to create one of the most memorable sights in the World
The Iguacu or Iguassu River delineates the border between the two countries, namely Argentina and Brazil, thus forming a natural border. And, the river is what forms and feeds the 'Mighty' and Spectacular Iguassu Falls.
Great trip, with fantastic view of the falls and an exciting dunking under one of the falls. Not for their elderly or infirm due to steep, slightly slippery steps to the boats.Great to see the falls from the river after you have done the walking trails.
Great river, the famous waterfalls called "Cataratas do Iguaçu" are there, wonderful view. Really great place to go.
i find myself in paradise...i been about 50 countries in the world and iguacu falls takemy breath away really!!!
If you want a little excitement and a close up encounter with the falls this is a must do.There was a short ride through the jungle on an electric train, then in a jeep like vehicle to the boats .The path down and up to the boats on the stone staircase could be a little too much for anyone that has any physical disabilities. Boats take about 20 people at a time out into the river and right up to and even under the mist and cool waters of one of he falls for about a 30-45 minute adventure. The driver thankfully was very experienced. Reminder- when you see the driver put on his water gear, it is time for you to remove your glass, hats, and cover in a plastic bag you cameras. You will be getting soaked, but since the temperature was almost 95 degrees you were dry in about fifteen minutes..There were bathrooms and places to purchase the video disc and single pictures.,
If you like the thrill and being close to nature and do not mind getting soaking wet no matter how you try to avoid it then take the MACUCO rafting on the Iguaçu river. Little expensive but great fun
After a really busy visit to Cataratas do Iguacu, we took a drive into the jungle and a boat ride up the river Iguacu, running away from the crowds. The personalized attention of the crew, a boat just for the five of us and an hour long ride up the river took us into, what seemed, miles away from the busy crowds and closer to the real jungle. From the safety of our boat we still felt the strong pull of the current, and caught sight of a yacare, enjoying a nap by the shore. Great experience!
Fantastic natural wonder. The boat ride from the Brazilian side of the falls was amazing, you will get very wet. It is worth visiting the both Brazil and Argentina side of the falls to see the best views
Do not recommend - visiting during rainy season. Very nasty and ugly. The falls are amazing if the river is not high season. During rainy season falls look like a Mud river
What a great way to see the falls ride the rapids and get a little wet. Superb attraction don't miss it but bring a pancho
We took the zodiac ride to the falls from the Brazilian side. It was great. We started with a nature drive, an interesting walk down to the river--might be a bit challenging for some, then a fun boat ride over small cataracts. The highlight was the boat goes under one of the smaller falls. Bring a dry bag for your camera--they tell you when to zip up--and enjoy. We got soaked but dried fast.
Walked the bridges out to the falls on both sides Brazil and Argentina. Watch for turtles in the water we saw three hanging onto stones near the falls one was very small how they were going to get out of that one is anybody's guess.
