There are a few reasons why you should try to visit hereFirstly its the most Easterly point of the Americas, secondly the view from here is fantastic and thirdly the sunset.There is a science museum ( the building with like a hexagon shape) near the entrance. parking is free and often there is some interesting stuff in there. Weekend sometimes have some cultural group outside with music or something entertaining. Inside they change a lot, i believe something new every two weeks. Sometimes science, robotics or like on my last visit art.Definitely worth a visit on your way to the view. Plus you get perfect view of the city and beaches from the top floorFood and toilet facilities at the art / science museum. Food and drink at the Ponte

It's been a while but I remember it was a very nice experience all in all. The only issue is that going by yourself may not be safe. We got lost more than once trying to reach the point. The bus drivers seem that they don't know the place (you should be very sure what name to use to reference) and we ended up walking in not-so-safe areas. A couple of locals helped us out but warned us about it. Luckly nothing happened, we reached the place and had a good time, but, be careful!

There are a number of things one should do before leaving this world, and one of them is to go to Joao Pessoa and Ponta do Seixas. The most easterly point in the Americas. The place in America closest to Africa! Wow. Wow. Sunset and Sundowns her is just unbelivable.

Maybe many won't find the beach that great, although it may be perfect for a romantic walk but I think the best thing about it is that this is the easternmost point of the Americas, North and South so it's nice to pin this down but only if you're in this sort of things. It's great to relax by just gazing at the waves or gazing in the far distance, I found the place quite serene, and like I said, it might be perfect for couples, for the rest of people, traveling with friends, families with kids or teens, near the exact place with easternmost point there is science/ culture museum with an interesting modern architecture which is worth visiting... So there you have it, an excellent place from my point of view, to visit!

Great place to visit to see the closest point of the Americas to Africa.There is also a great science museum close where there are various displays.

If you will go to the Cabo Branco Station and Cabo Branco Lighthouse, it use this opportunity to know this beach. It is eastermost point of America. This beach is very crowded because it is very close to urban region.

The extreme eastern point of the continent has an amazing view point where one can experience an awesome landscape. Yes, it is windy and sometimes desert, but I didin´t have an unsafe sensation there.If you can get up early, it is even better to be experienced by the sunrise.

This is best used by Brazilians not Tourists . Stay away I am told at night and on Holidays this place fills up like a Soccer Stadium during The World Cup and is a mess and noisy NOT a Fist Class Experience to say the least.You be much better off to stay closer to Cabo Branco Beach instead !!!

Unfortunate this place is not well indicated. We don't exactly know if we are at the point or not.

É um local muito bom para se visitar.Com barracas rústicas, mar azul e areia fina, a praia da Ponta do Seixas é o ponto oriental extremo das Américas. No alto da falésia, um farol indica o marco. Inclua a praia no roteiro de passeios da manhã, uma vez que a falésia faz sombras logo no começo da tarde.

A Ponta do Seixas é o ponto mais oriental da América do Sul. É onde podemos nos aproximar mais da Africa sem tirar os pés do continente americano. Entretanto, o solo de calcário e argila está desmontando em função da constante erosão provocada pelas ondas do mar e parte do acesso já está interrompido sob risco de desabamento.Apesar de já haver movimentação para obras de contenção, percebe-se que em algum momento o Farol do Cabo Branco, construído na era militar e cujo formato em pé de sisal (triangular) com 40 metros poderá ser igualmente isolado e ter sua visitação suspensa. Isso significa que se desejam conhecer este local, apressem-se! Porque esta é uma beleza em risco por deslizamento!Ao lado do farol do Cabo Brando, foi projetado por Oscar Niemeyer um prédio de estrutura moderna que foi denominado Estação Cabo Branco – Ciência, Cultura e Artes. O projeto foi inaugurado em 3 de julho de 2008 e seu complexo possui mais de 8.500m² de área construída no bairro do Altiplano Cabo Branco. A Estação tem a missão de levar, gratuitamente à população, cultura, arte, ciência e tecnologia. No entanto, a população local sequer sabe do que se trata e a imensa construção é subutilizada e aparentemente, não está cumprindo com sua missão de divulgação da cultura.

O Farol de Cabo Branco não fica na praia, você vai de carro, tira suas fotos lá com aquela vista mas vai ter que ir até a praia de carro. Não curti o farol em si, é moderno. Acho bonito aqueles antigos e cheios de história. Mas a vista é deslumbrante!Na praia você acerta o passeio para as piscinas naturais do Seixas. Esse passeio pode ser acertado partindo da praia de Tambaú mas daí não terá como chegar no farol.As piscinas naturais do Seixas são mais preservadas que as de Picãozinho.Almoçamos no restaurante PEIXADA DO AMOR (Fica na Rua Maceió 180). Se gostar de peixe não deixe de ir lá, foi o melhor caldinho que já provei, porções bem servidas a preços muito bons. Tanto que fomos um dia até lá somente para almoçar.

Praia com bares e restaurantes literalmente à beira mar.Ótimo em dias de semana.Falta melhorias na estrutura dos bares.

As piscinas naturais do Pontal do Seixas, são excelentes. Lá quem gosta de mergulhar vai estar no lugar certo. Recomendo. Lugar muito bonito.

A praia é muito bonita, é de lá que saem os passeios para as piscinas do seixas, o que deixa um pouco a desejar é a estrutura dos bares que tem ali.
