Nice street for strolling down and window shopping. Lots of clothes shops and restaurants and bars? During the day it caters for the many cruise ships that come in but generally by dusk the ships have gone and it is a great place to people watch.
I looove Rua das Pedras, best shopping place with amazing view. Stop by any restaurant for a great happy hour and go back at late night to enjoy the clubs around!
This is the place I take my mum when she visits ... Lots of great shops with all different shops ... All sorts... Good food places and there's the beache in front of it all... Give yourself a few hours as there's plenty to see...( well my mum does anyway )) haha ... Even better at night time and it's very safe
To be honest, I thought it was gonna be better. Sure, you have a lot of trendy shops and restaurants, including the famous Chez Michou, but I had higher expectations. We only went twice at night in the 7 days we spent in Buzios.
Boutique feel and lots of bikini shops. Too packed late at night but nice to wander around the cobbled street between 6-7
different times, different tribes, just like the beach. before sunset, people with kids and taking pictures, after 11 pm, it starts the hottest place to see beautiful people
Staff pushy and not very friendly.Large portions of food, but poor quality. They do give out money-off vouchers for this place, but even so just not worth a visit. They were also very fussy about where you could or could not sit.
Better shopping than in Rio, and unlike Rio most of the shops here take Amex. We had a good experience with restaurants in Buzios also.
Living in Brazil almost 2 years now and probably one of if not the nicest place I've seen so far. Clean, lots of restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping. Little pier and ocean path for nice stroll. Really liked this place and I'm a bit of a hard person to please. Only problem is the place is super warm but that's nobody's fault.
The town has grown and changed considerably over the years. This is a great place for tourists to experience how truly gorgeous Brazil is...........a quaint fishing village that has evolved into a bustling tourist town. I prefer off season, now that Im older.
A great stroll in the late afternoon and after dinner. Wear comfortable shoes - cobblestone is quaint but dangerous.
