Virtually every one of the many Schooners and other day cruise boats that operate from Paraty visit Lula beach and it is easy to see why. Apart from being a beautiful spot, where jungle literally comes down to clean white sand, it is very accessible and the boats can thus moor close to shore. There is nothing there apart from the boats when they visit - and a single privately owned beach house, which appears in so many photos of this beach. Actually the house is owned by a family from Sao Paulo and they visit it sparingly - thse cruise boats are a constant source of iritation for them as they are supposed to moor 100 meters off shore but regularly come in much closer. Then there is the problem of passegers from the boat comingv up to the house asking for water and use of facilities! I spent a wonderful day here with the owners of the house and after 3pm, when all the boats have gone the beach is something very special.

The beach is nice, the water is warm and you feel like you could be anywhere in the Caribbean and as far away as you can from the hustle and bustle of the big cities of Sao Paulo and Rio. I must say that the day I went, the water was not clean or clear. I don't know if this is the norm but you could see a bit of rubbish and dirt, so although I would recommend this when in Paraty or surrounds, don't expect crystal clear waters full of fish like the Great Barrier of Reef or the pacific Islands.

Beautiful spot to hang put and enjoy the water. We went here as part of a party schooner tour. This is a regular stop for those boats.

Great beach to swim into from your boat but does sometimes get a little crowded when the schooners arrive.

We came here as part of a day island hopping on a manned little boat we hired for 60 reals an hour (about £14) there is virtually nothing here but the beach is truly beautiful, the water clear and bath warm. If you come to Paraty then hiring one of these little boats and visiting this particular beach is an absolute must. My advice is to do as we did and walk down to the marina and hire a boat driven by a local, not one of the very expensive ones available in the town. Ours was owned by an ageing gracefully surfer type fella named Tony, he knew all the best spots and places to cliff dive (if you're brave enough, which we weren't!) stunning, beautiful and so relaxing.....

Realmente uma paisagem muito bonita! Praia com aguas calmas, boas para o snorkeling. Se vc vier, traga sua mascara e snorkel. Se nao tiver um, venha com os passeios de escuna (recomendo muito bem a Paraty Tur). Se tiver nadadeiras, pode trazer, mas elas nao fazem falta.

Linda praia de águas calmas e quentes. Ótimo lugar para mergulho com muitos peixes para observar. Vale muito a pena o passeio.

son los calamares (LULAS) los que le dan el nombre a esta playa, bastante limpia y bonita, con peces entre medio, aqui antiguamente se pescaban cantidades enormes de calamares y es por esto que le han puesto el nombre de playa da LULA

Praia do Lula tem que chegar de barco. Ótimo lugar para banho de mar e fazer excelentes fotos. A areia é bem clara e grossa, o mar praticamente não tem onda, ficando muito bom para nadar. Desde a beira do mar é bem fundo, ficando rapidamente com 10 metros de profundidade.

Vale a pena conhecer, unico ponto negativo é que precisa ir de escuna, e a escuna fica pouco tempo por la´.

Aiii não sei nem o que falar, amei todas as praias, ilhas, tuuudooo.. A natureza é linda e em Paraty não poderia ser diferente, MAR cristalino, água deliciosa.. Não tem como não ir conhecer.

É parada certa nos passeios de escuna (tem um em cada esquina da cidade). Os barcos partem do porto pertinho pertinho do centro histórico. A praia da lula é uma delícia. Visual incrível, águas tranquilas. Vale a visita!

Essa praia é uma das nossas principal atração quando se sai para um passeio de escuna, quase todas a s embarcações marcam presença lá, pois apesar de ser continente só se chega lá por mar.

O passeio de escuna que sai de Parati é imperdível, muito linda a praia da lula. A escuna para pertinho quem quiser vai nadando, quem quiser vai de bote. Água límpida, mansa e morna. Pena que a escuna fica por pouco tempo.Tiram-se fotos lindíssimas lá.

Playa de arena blanca. Un paraíso total. muy tranquilo y con poca gente, para pasar un momento en contacto con la naturaleza.
