This tour is made through the sunset, there are a lot of volcanos around the Lake Tebinquinche and salt flats. You can see also wild life in front of you, like Vicuñas and Flamincos.
Beautiful desert landscape. In the summer it becomes a white salt lake with the mountain in the background. It is beautiful!
I went there to see the sunset, after the bath at "Laguna Cejar". It was so beautifull. I was with the agency El Relincho, and they are very good. They provided a very good snack, and we only left after the sunset, a few agencies left before.
Salty lakes used for Flamingos to feed, it's a very special place: with an amazing view including the Andes
Nice landscape with the salt desert and mountain in the background. You can get there by bike in an hour and half, although in summer it's better to go in the morning or late afternoon. This is usually combined with the laguna cejar by tour operators.
You kan get very nice guides. They know exactly where to take you, some times with breakfast in the morning just og chocolates and juices
We were there around 3 pm and had almost two hours before the tourists came in. Yes, we took the chance to rent a bike and go by ourselves from San Pedro. It was a hour and a half bike in total (if you go normally). The colors and reflections in the water were amazing. The place is affordable, you can wander all around the laguna for how long that you want.
Amazing lagoon and brethaking sunset !!! The reflections in the water give the place a lots of magic.come w a good camera to capture the magic.
this place is wonderful. Tour operators take you there at sunset, so you can watch the sun going down, taking a pisco sour and some snacks. The best view is during the summer, since the lake dries and becomes a dry salt lake.
Go here at sunset & you will not be disappointed! This was our second visit to Laguna Tebinquinche (August) and our first was back in October of last year & it was totally different this time. There was more water in the laguna--you could still walk all the way across, but the reflections weren't as good in photographs, but still the most stunning sunset I've ever seen in my entire life!
This is an excellent place to visit! The altitude, nice views and the reflections in the water give the place a bit of magic...If you want to capture those beauties, make sure you bring a camera with a polarizing filter on the lens: the results will stunning. Watching the sunset at this lagoon was absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth the trip out there! It was definitely an unforgettable experience! It's a must do in San Pedro!
This trip is amazing! Yes, it´s done in quite large groups and there are lots of other vans there, but it hardly spoils the moment! First we went to a salt lagoon where we could bath. I have always wanted to try it and that´s veeeery cool! People float! There´s a hot spring bellow, but I was told the salt doesn´t allow the flows to mix so it´s cold on the surface and warm by your knees and down. Yes, the water is cold and it requires a little bravery to face it (my husband decided he´ll wait until we´ve got a chance to go to the Dead Sea to try it...haha). There are booths for changing and showers to clean the salt (it´s actually harder to get into the freezing shower...)Then we pass by Ojos del Salar, which are ok, take a feel pictures. People can also dive here. Finally we went to Tebinquinche! We got to see the mountains reflecting on the lagoon and all the color changing until senset. The guide prepares a exquisit pisco sour and some snacks...show! Cheap, close to SPA and absolutely stunning!
I enjoyed a lot because I took beautiful pictures there! The lagoon reflects Licancabur volcano and you can have a good imagination to took a very cool pics! The salar was beautiful too, and the best time is to go for sunset
I love this place. Our tour stays till dark then we could see the sky soooo amazing with the stars. And they make a nice snacks table in the midlle of nothing.
