Wow! Must see this if you are in Chillan. Murals in hallway and library (which is one big room) with walls and ceiling painted by Mexican muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros. "Muerte al invasor" (Death to the invaders) One shows an Aztec emperor shooting arrows at a cross, symbolizing the anger of the native people at the imposition of the religious invasion. It is quite moving to see, taking up an entire wall and part of the ceiling. There is an attendant who provided me with a written explanation of the murals (in English).

Los murales y la historia de como se construyo la escuela es interesante, ya que se entiende que mexico apollo a Chillan luego del terremoto que destruyo gran parte de la ciudad.

Bella escuela y un pedazo de historia de la ciudad. Merece especial atención los murales que se encuentran a la entrada y en la biblioteca, los que retratan la historia de Chile y America, realizados por Siqueiros. No dejes de visitarlos.

El atractivo principal de esta escuela es el mural realizado por el artista Alfaro Siqueiros. Bonita infraestructura.
