This pier is very beautiful and provides a wonderful place to take in all of the natural beauty that surrounds Frutillar. The lake is so clear, you can see straight to the bottom. Also, you get a better view of Teatro del Lago from the back side, if you will. If you are on a couples trip, this is a very romantic spot to enjoy with your honey and maybe a cup of coffee.

Frutillar is the most beautiful little town (more like a little village) by lake LLanquihue, with volcano Osorno in the background. Charming location, amazing landscape, quaint shops, very clean.....

Frutillar offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in the entire world. You can rest assured that the best pictures of your trip to Chile will be the ones taken here. The MUELLE FRUTILLAR, a deck upon Lake LLanquihue is the perfect setting for those unforgettable pictures. The KUCHEN de CREMA (raspberry pie, a German recipe) is the best I've ever tried in Chile. Just browse around and you'll realize that very few places in the world can boast such breathtaking views, landscapes, atmosphere, you name it. The view of the Osorno Volcano (a national pride and unforgettable landmark), the Lake, the Teatro del Lago, the German architecture...I would sit in some of the cafés bordering the lake and savour it all afternoon: the view will make your coffe taste even better. Arriving early in the morning before the crowds, me and my sister bought coffee from a local man selling espresso out of a small cart and sat down by the pier and watched the waves ripple across Lake Llanquihue. Frutillar doesn't have much to do, but that's kind of the beauty of it. After we finished our drinks, we wandered around town admiring the unique architecture in the town. Homes in Frutillar and the Lake District in general fuse Germanic elements with characteristically Latin color combinations on what would otherwise be run-of-the-mill buildings. Keep your eye out for the music school which has forest green corrugated metal siding with ornate wooden window frames. It is definitely worth spending some time exploring this small German colony!To get here, take the mini busses going down Av San Francisco in Puerto Varas. Hop on any one that says "Frutillar Bajo." It costs CLP$1000 and takes about an hour each way.

Located on a large lake in the Los Lagos region in Chile, this small town has a European feel. It was settled in the mid 1800's by German immigrants who were recruited to come to Chile to settle this area. Natives did not want to live here because it rains heavily here 10 months of the year. There is a museum here explaining the German heritage and showing the way of life at that time. The German influence remains in the town. Take a stroll by the lake and enjoy the views.

From the pier in Frutillar, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes that are everywhere, incluiding the second biggest lake in the country and the beautiful view of the Andean mountain range with the imponent volcano Osorno.

Beautiflul town on the banks of Lake Llanquihue, situated in southern Chile in the Los Lagos Region. It was settled by German immigrants during the 1850s. You can still see the chalet style houses and germanic people who live there and our guide was fourth generation German. I visited the German Museum and theTeatro del Lago which offers concerts all year round. Well worth a trip to see something unusual in this part of Chile.

es un buen paseo, los alrededores son muy atractivos y hay bastantes lugares para comer. Si quieres puedes arrendar kayaks y dar una vuelta por el lago. Recomendable

Frutillar es un lugar tranquilo en el que puedes disfrutar lo hermoso del sur de Chile y, nada mejor que pasar un buen momento mirando el paisaje desde el muelle de Frutillar. Ideal para hacer una pausa en tu itinerario y luego seguir recorriendo o comer un rico kuchen

Comer a la orilla del lago unos ricos kuchen, o tortas de amapola es uno de los mejores panoramas de Frutillar! los baños funcionan hasta las 20:00 horas
