We visited the winery when we spend 3 days in Talca. The winery is small, family owned and lovely. They offer winetour and tasting in English and Spanish. Our Guide spoke fluent English and took a lot of time to show us around and answered all our questions . The tasting took also place in relaxed atmosphere. We were just 4 guests and could try more than the actual 4 wines which are included in the tasting. Over all we spend there 1,5 hours. Compared to other tastings it was refreshingly relaxed and private. Not to forget to mention the wine is very tasty !
It's a small winery, but the tour was very interesting and I learned a lot new things. The guide was very good. I was only person getting the tour and I had an option to get the tour in Spanish or in English. Afterwards there was a wine tasting, they offered four wines. Sadly you cant buy their wine in Europe (yet).
We visited Balduzzi Winery as part of the schedule itinerary arranged by the Maule Valley wine route, but we should had visited on our own, without previous reservation. Fortunately Balduzzi was a very good experience. Nice team, tour in English, with a very nice tasting of the wines and very beautiful location. Shame not been able to take more than a couple of bottles of wine, but next time we'll visit Maule, we'll certainly stop there.
While exploring Chile, we drove down to Pucon and found this vineyard by mistake. Great mistake it turned out to be! Wines were good across the board. The tour was nice. They took us in right away and the staff was very Friendly. Yes, they spoke English. I'm bilingual but it was nice for my husband who does not speak it so well. I give this place 5 stars, definitely going back next time we go..
Our Balduzzi tour was wonderful. The woman giving the tour spoke perfect English and the wines were delicious! The property was breathtaking. A really great experience overall. Would highly recommend.
Balduzzi is a pretty winery between Santiago and the Lakes District but the vineyard tour could be better. We paid USD10 for a tour and tasting session. The intern who showed us around was new at his job and wasn't able to adequately answer our questions. There are better and more interesting wineries in Chile to visit. That said, the wines here were quite good. Visit on a weekday to observe the production and bottling processes. We were there on a weekend and the wasn't much to see.
