Besides the few interesting information you learn about Ushuaia (wich probably you already would have learned in the other attractions such as museums and tours) is a good shelter when you walked so much in the park! Has restrooms and a cafeteria.
When walking in national parks whereever it might be, you can almost always get the feeling you need a restroom, get thirsty or just want to sit down for a minute or two. This vistors centre is a perfect place for that. The only negative thing to say about the Place is that the restrooms are too small and too few.
This facility has not only a gift shop but also a museum and a restaurant. The food is very good (sometimes better than other local restaurants) and the prices are same as if you get anything in town (could be much more expensive if you consider that they are in the middle of nothing). Very recomended if you want to enjoy a good meal or a cup of coffee
A nice clean contemporary structure housing food services, washroom facilities, souvenir shop, a quaint museum, and great lookout opportunities.
this is the place where the buses from ushuaia pick up passengers. it faces the beautiful lago roca and the cafe has huge windows framing the beautiful view. the museum has interesting exhibits of local art
Our tour guide took us here to show us the exhibits upstairs. I have been here 3 years ago but I did not see the exhibit. It was interesting. It was cold and raining so it was a welcome relief to go inside to read and get some information about Ushuaia in the earlier years.
I had read about this building before visiting the Park and it surprised us with it’s modern look set on high ground with spectacular views to the river and surrounding lush landscape. There is onsite parking, restrooms, a huge café, a small but interesting museum and a gift store. Many of the items for sale are regional with books on the Park’s history and not too many kitschy souvenirs – some items would make a classy keepsake of your visit to Patagonia. There’s information of sorts downstairs but you may be better off going to the Tourist Office in Ushuaia before entering the Park.Enjoy your experience!
The museum is ok. The view is great, with a mountain and a lake just in front of it. In the sorrounds, it is the camping. It's the point of the park with more quantity of animals.
Except a few printed matters., I think it could be better managed.
