A long climb to the top of the tower! Very narrow stairwells and steep steps which means you're often waiting for other visitors to pass. Beautiful views from the top - well worth the climb for the price you pay (35kr per adult). The grand church organ was well worth checking out too.

Worth a visit and a great view of a beautiful city. It's fairly cheap and defiantly worth the money. So very recommendable.

Our Saviour's is one of Denmark's most famous chuches. Ever since the serpentine spire was inaugurated in 1752, is has been a popular passtime to climb the 400 steps to the top.

Great view from the top but you need a head for heights. Steep climb but worth it. Reasonably priced attraction

This is a gem of a church - beautiful organ and plenty of gold leaf and sculpture to observe. It takes you from the centre of the city - but very near the "hippie" alternative state so 2 tourist sites for one.

From the outside the spire looks like chocolate embroiled with gold. Walking through into the amazing church your taken back by the vast size of the grand halls and church organ. For a small nominal fee you can climb the 400 stairs to the top of the church spire around the spiral case at the top to view an amazing landscape that surrounds. This is a perfect picture opportunity, so queue the selfies!#stunning

I visited the Church over the weekend, the Church is beautiful and lovely to sit in (it is free of charge.) To climb the tower costs but was free on the on the Copenhagen card. It was a long climb to the top, up many narrow staircases. There is a sign when you get higher up advising that you climb further at your own risk...with was worrying :-/ I was pleased when we finally got to the top and saw the view, but the tower ledge is very narrow and gets smaller as you go around. I only managed the first ledge and then my acrophobia kicked in and I had to wait whilst my partner climbed higher. So it's not good if you're claustrophobic of scared of heights!

This was amazing. Can't work out why you'd put the stairs on the outside of the spire but none the less it made for a great view.

I was able to enter the church for free but had to pay a small (but reasonable) fee to climb to the top. The climb up is not easy or for the faint hearted, claustrophobic, or those afraid of heights, but the view and experience are definitely worthwhile. Luckily when I was there, not many others had climbed to the top, so I didn't have to worry about making room for others, but I imagine it could be quite unpleasant (even scary) to squeeze past others on the narrow steps on the outside of the tower. I thought it was a beautiful view and fun experience, but if you are at all concerned or frightened about the climb, I wouldn't do it.

Visiting this Church and enjoying the view of Copenhagen from the top was an unforgettable experience. However, the effort of getting to the top and having to jostle past other tourists whilst ascending and descending detracted from the experience.

Free, gorgeous view, go in the early morning. Be wary that the stairs are steep and narrow and that there is no elevator.

Beautiful church, the tower is really nice, the stairs to the top have been built anticlockwise and the Danish people like to tell the urban legend that the guy who built the tower commited suicide by throwing himself from the tower, when he noticed that he had built it wrongly and everyone made fun of him. It is not true but, well, useless information. You can go to the top but if you're looking for a nice Copenhagen panorama view, I'd rather climb the tower of Christiansborg Palace because they have lifts! :D But if you'r adventurous, go for it.

The view is amazing from the tower and some days it is free entrance. Unfortunately I could not get inside the church, but definitely wither the visit.

The climb up the spire is not easy but the view from it is brilliant. Unfortunately we were not able to go inside the church as it was closed but you have a lot to see on the way. The spire caught my eye instantly while was taking the canal tour and I am happy I got to to go all the way to the top.

It's a hike to the top you won't regret. Not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pick a clear day and wear good shoes.
