fiddler on the roof

This is interesting to see if you are in the area. But don't make a special trip downtown just for this. Don't get me wrong. I thinks it's cool to have this on top of the building. But it's nothing super spectacular.

Ukraine has a large number of very interesting statues and monuments. This one is no exception. It is in a startling location, completely unexpected. I love it!

This statue is promoted as a Kharkiv's symbol but I would not say it is something special.. The city has many statues which are nicer although this one in the center.

In 2003 the building of the former Azov-Don bank was decorated with a “ fiddler on the roof” figure ( sculptured by Gurbanov) It was presented to the city by the president of charitable foundation AVEK – Alexandr Feldman as the sign of appreciation and respect to all creative people of the city. It is no coincidence that this figure is situated on the roof. To see it you need to raise the head, it symbolizes art and creative work.

Тяжеловато его найти, но если смотреть в нужном направлении от градусника, то вполне реально) Интересное произведение культуры находящиеся в нестандартном месте.

Необычная статуя. Если не знаешь, можно и не увидеть - хотя просто нужно поднять глаза. Скульптура очень живая, динамичная, парящая над городом.

Симпатичный, необычных архитектурный элемент. Скрипач находится на крыше большого здания на огромной площади - мы его не сразу заметили.

Очень трогательно, тонко. Вспоминается и литературная основа, и музыкальные образы. Удачное расположение - памятник хорошо виден и с верхних точек площади Конституции, и с нижних.
