dahl street

Very beautiful, and quite street. The best time to see the beauty of this place is fall and summer. But to be honest it is beautiful at any season of the year.

It is very quite street, with parc and not a lot of cars. It is one of the first streets of old Lugansk. There is a Dahl Museum on the street. It is a small building which was Dahl's home. There is also a monument of Dahl and hydropathic. Old center is nice to see.

Считается первой в старом Луганске улицей, первое название - Английская (жили иностранные специалисты, строившие Луганский литейный завод), после революции называлась ул.Юного Спартака, потом переименована в честь Казака Луганского - Владимира Даля, который родился в Луганске. На улице есть его литературный дом-музей и памятник.
