museum of construction history of the central part of baikal amur mainline

Nice and very interesting museum regarding the history of the contruction of the BAM railway and about the Tynda area. Several nice pictures and costumes and some stuffed animals. Interesting even when you don't speak Russian...

NIce museum, but you need to speak Russian to appreciate the amazing history of BAM. The service is good, but the museum is a bit difficult to find. Ask for directions.

Funny as it seems, I have visited Tynda twice, Once up from the trans sib and once from Komsolmolsk,I did make the mistake of staying at the station rooms, worst value in Russia, Get yourself a decent room and stay one or two nights here for the relaxation. People really friendly and make no mistake, you are a rare sight indeed. Have a Banya (always has hot hot water, now isnt that novel?) Catch a bus out to the Village and walk for a couple of hours, get the real feeling of being in the middle of nowhere.Bam Musey OK too. That is one real train line. Had a bad feeling with the Taxis, Walk and bus it. Then get the train to Seveobaikalsk then down the lake by boat or plane. Try and manage the Circum Baikal, as impossible as the Russians can make it for doing this fantastic train journey, persist!!!!

Можно назвать местным краеведческим музеем. Экспонаты не только из эпохи строительства БАМа, но и все о жизни и быте туземцев - эвенков, а также приехавших сюда со всей великой страны народов на стройку БАМа. Если повезет, возьмите экскурсию. Очень интересно. Во дворе музея также есть на что посмотреть - "бочка Диогена". В таких жили строители БАМа.

Небольшой, уютный музей. Помимо очень наглядно представленной экспозиции о Великой стройке (очень подробная интересная информация с яркими экспонатами) в музее присутствуют залы о местных жителях этих земель - эвенков. Здесь можно узнать о их быте, обрядах, условных знаках и т.д. Отдельно представлен зал о жутком времени - БАМлаге. В музее много экспонатов посвящено самим бамовцам... Будете в Тынде - сходите в музей - не пожалеете!

В музее представлены документальные факты периода строительства БАМа, преодоления человеком тяжелейших природных условий. Весьма интересно!
